Clash of Titans

Yesterday I started a free online course at the University of Pennsylvania in Greek and Roman Mythology, to enhance my curriculum vitae and also to be able to learn more about this subject that has always fascinated me since I was a child.

I remember watching the movie Clash of Titans in the 1980s when the gods were almost merciless to people and there was a hero, a demigod called Perseus who cut off Medusa's head and used it to turn a titan into stone, which it was actually a sea monster called Kraken.

This film had a new version in 2010 and I went to watch it at the cinema. There were many changes in the new version that I did not like.
In the original version the goddess Tethys was offended by Queen Cassiopeia because she compared the beauty of her daughter with that of the Goddess, who upon hearing this rages, her statue falls, breaks and the head of her statue comes to life demanding that Andromeda be sacrificed to a sea monster (the Kraken), in the remake is the god Hades that appears in this scene, and I didn't like it very much. Of course, today's special effects are much better than the original film, but still the first version is my favorite.

You could use "that" if you wrote "a subject," but with "this subject," "which seems necessary. The rules are rather opaque, but I think this is a good explanation, if you haven't seen it before: https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/when-to-use-that-and-which

"When" assigns the succeeding clause to "the 1980s," not "Clash of the Titans."

Clash of the Titans

The movie in English is called "Clash of the Titans".

Yesterday, I started a free online course at the University of Pennsylvania in Greek and Roman Mythology, to enhance my curriculum vitae, and also to be able to learn more about this subject that has always fascinated me since I was a child.

Either "always fascinated me" or "fascinated me since I was a child" are fine. Having both doesn't quite work.

I remember watching the movie Clash of the Titans in the 1980s whenin which the gods were almost near-merciless to people and there was a hero, a demigod called Perseus, who cut off Medusa's head and used it to turn a titan into stone, which it was actually a sea monster called the Kraken.

There were many changes in the new version that I did not like.

In the original version the goddess Tethys was offended by Queen Cassiopeia because she compared the beauty of her daughter with that of the Ggoddess, who upon hearing this rages, hbecomes enraged. Her statue falls, breaks, and the head of her statue comes to life demanding that Andromeda be sacrificed to a sea monster (the Kraken), i. In the remake, it is the god Hades that appears in this scene, and I didn't like it very much.

Of course, today's special effects are much better than the original film's, but still the first version is still my favorite.
