City portrait
Yesterday I harvested tomatoes and cooked/preserved tomato sauce to eat in the winter.
During that monotonous work I listened to a " city portrait". That's a series of programmes by the Austrian radio Ö1. Once a month it presents places that few tourists visit, interviews people from the city, plays music in relation to the city etc. Each of these broadcasts lasts two hours which allows for a fairly in-depth presentation.
Yesterday's portrait was about Bogotá. It was very interesting and instructive! Now I know who Monsieur Periné is. =)
It is possible to listen to this broadcast on the internet. I recommend it to all those who want to improve their German listening skills and already have a level of around B2.
