Every year in December, Shanghai is filled with the spirit of Christmas. Maybe it's a little unique in China. Even my friend in Guangzhou asked me a few days ago, "How about the decorations in big shopping malls this year?"
Unlike family and religious reasons in other countries, Christmas in China is more about business and fun. And it's more popular among the young generation than the old ones. But in Shanghai, it's a season for all generations. I believe that's what gives Shanghai its unique Christmas atmosphere - you can do what you like here, as long as it's legal, and nobody cares about your age or something else.
This atmosphere encourages businessmen and businesswomen to try their best to attract customers, from big shopping malls to tiny cafes.
If you're in Shanghai right now, I recommend you find a Christmas bazaar and join it. It will be a special experience.
Don't forget to wear your thick clothes. It will be quite cold at night.

It was great 👍🏾😃.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁.
Maybe it's a little uniquthis is something unique to China. or Maybe this is something you can only see in China.
Hi there, I guess you were thinking something like 可能在中国有点特别??? That doesn't necessarily translate into English in the same way. You don't need the 有点, just go for unique, and BTW unique is generally followed by TO.
Unlike family and religious reasons in other countries, Christmasin other countries, where Christmas is about family and religious reasons, in China, it’s more about business and fun.
You were probably thinking something like 与其他国家的家庭和宗教原因不同,圣诞节在中国更注重商业和娱乐, but it's not working because in English, you need to match the subjects for clarity.
And it's more popular among the youngER generation than the old ones.
Don't ask me why here, it just sounds better... Plus considering the following sentence, it's a bit "choppy", I would link these two, may be something like "And although it is generally more popular..., in Shanghai..."

Nobody... needs anything, not something
If you're in Shanghai right now, I recommend you findvisit a Christmas bazaar and join imarket."
"Xmas market" is the standard version and you don't join that, but visit it, or "check it out", but that's more informal.
Don't forget to wear your thickwarm clothes. OR ... wrap yourself up in warm clothes.
I would definitely go for the second one, "Don't forget to wrap yourself up in warm clothes."

You are doing great, but you have the same problem I do, you are still unconsciously using your mother tongue structure and putting English on top of it. I'm doing it the other way round, for instance I wrote 以前的时候旅行只是一个有钱的人。because in English we say "travelling was for the rich", instead of 旅行是有钱人的事。的事 doesn't change the meaning in English, so it's not easy for me to remember to include it. I would recommend reading as much as you can in English (modern stuff, the way people actually talk and not something too bookish), to get your brain soaked in the grammar. "Don't practise until you can do it right, practise until you can't do it wrong." 加油!
