Today is Christmas and it's regarded as a day for couples in Japan. I don't understand why it is. It's said that people who don't have their lovers on Christmas are pathetic, but I think how to spend a Christmas day is free. It's up to me, so I don't like this common opinion in Japan. Many Japanese people aren't Christian, so there is an atmosphere that Christmas is just one of the annual events. Maybe, companies started promoting that Christmas was a romantic day in order to sell their products.
