Challenge, Day 08

Today was eighth day of my English challenge. I woke up at five o'clock am. I reviewed some English lessons. Then, I learn how use application Canva.

In the afternoon, I read some English corrections in the site. Then, I decided to use some words in the sentence which I learn yesterday.

Here are some words: To turn on, to chat, to be positive, to hung, to quit, to googel, I feel like+ving, to come over.

I am always postive, so I will improve my English.

I am positive, so I work very hard to start my own business. My only wish is to help poor people.

I am going to come home in a five minutes.

She comes over. she lives nearby.

I can't wait to meet my friend at the aerport. I feel like hanging him for a while.

I can't wait to meet my friend at the aerport. I want to hang him for a long time.

I am chatting to a friend over Skype.

Are you quitting for real?

I am googling something for my job!

Where is the remote? I need to turn on the TV.

I want to thank the people who helped and corrected me.

Corrections

Today was the eighth day of my English challenge.

You could write here 'the eighth day' or just 'day 8'.

I woke up at five o'clock am.

Here you can either write five o'clock, or you can just put 5am.

Then, I learnt how to use application Canva.

I learn is present tense, I learnt is past tense.
How to use, like, how to write, how to sing, etc.

In the afternoon, I read some English corrections ion the site.

On the website, rather than in. It is confusing. You go ON the internet, ON the website, you talk ON the phone. :)

Then, I decided to use some words in thea sentence which I learnt yesterday.

In a sentence, because it is not a specific sentence.
Past tense of I learn, I learnt.

Here are some wordphrases: To turn on, to chat, to be positive, to huang, to quit, to googele, I feel like+ving, to come over.

They are words, but to be more specific, you can say phrases.
To hang. I hung (a picture) is past tense.
Googel -> Google
'I feel like +ving'. Do you mean - verb + ing? Having, Singing, Doing? This is correct.

I am always postive, so I will improve my English.

Excellent!!

I can't wait to meet my friend at the aeirport.

Airport. This is a word called Aerospace. It is confusing.

I feel like hanging out with him for a while.

Oh dear!! 'I feel like hanging him' means something very different from 'I feel like hanging out with him'!
Hanging out, means to spend time with someone. Hanging him, means to kill him!
Funny mistake, haha.

I can't wait to meet my friend at the aeirport.

I want to hang out with him for a long time.

Feedback

Hope that helps, good luck!!

Then, I learnt how to use application Canva.

This isn't enough to make the sentence correct. The minimal correct version I can produce is: Then, I learnt how to use the application Canva.

Today was the eighth day of my English challenge.

I woke up at five o'clock am.

Short sentence

I reviewed some English lessons.

Short sentence

Then, I learned how to use an application called Canva.

If you want to use a comma, use it to combine this corrected sentence with the previous one.

In the afternoon, I read some English corrections ion the is website.

Using 'on' as your preposition here sounds more natural here.

You should be more specific about what you mean by your expression `on the site`. As it stands right now this expression is too
ambiguous to feel natural. You can use `on a website` if you desire the expression to remain ambiguous as to which website you were reading the corrections on. In the case that your intended meaning was literally this website, langcorrect.com, then `on this website` will do.

Then, I decided to use some words in thea sentence, words which I had learned yesterday.

Without this correction it is hard for the reader to understand what exactly it is that you learned yesterday. The original sentence you wrote could be read to mean "I learned some words from a sentence yesterday and then I used those words".

Here are some wordexpressions: To turn on, to chat, to be positive, to become hung, to quit, to googele, I feel like+ving, to come over.

The way you have listed them these are not really words, at least in the general sense.

I am always positive, so I will improve my English.

My style preference is for less usage of commas but I'm sure other people's opinions may differ.

I am positive, so I will work very hard to start my own business.

My style preference is for less usage of commas but I'm sure other people's opinions may differ.

I am going to come home in a five minutes.

I can't wait to meet my friend at the aeirport.

I feel like hanging with him for a while.

The phrase "hanging him" literally means to try and kill the person with rope, not at all what you intended I'm sure.

I can't wait to meet my friend at the aeirport.

I want to hang with him for a long time.

Another usage of `hang` without a preposition, don't do this because it means you want to kill the person.

I am chatting towith a friend over Skype.

Feedback

Overall great work, I wish I was one quarter as learned as you are in my own 2nd language.

I think the best thing to work on is to start learning on how you can use conjunctions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conjunction_(grammar) to help extend your short sentences into longer more cohesive trains of thought. Admittedly this is something that even some native speakers often have hard time with, myself included.

This is still incorrect since the previous sentence is in past tense.

Then, I decided to use some words in thea sentence, words which I had learned yesterday.

This correction is flawed, the sentence is referring to the past tense but is using a present tense verb form. Additionally we have a plural usage of the word "sentence", so the usage of the article "the" is incorrect and "a" should be used in its place.

It's good to be specific about a challenge or contest or something like that.

Hanging is a method of dying. "I want to hang him" sounds like you want to kill this person, which I'm sure you don't want 😅. "I want to hang OUT with him" sounds much better.
