I was reading about Mayan empire. Everything of it is interesting for me, but something capture my attention, that I could figured out modern reality in the ultimate steps Maya extinction.
I could see the similarity in our incapacity to handle climatic changes, stop the over exploitation of nature and switch misbehave with the environment. We at present know what happened to them.
Historical Maya event happened in a little portion of the earth, not in almost all earth as our case, but we have some advantage as technology and specialists in diverse areas to stop this irreversible damage, however the real question is, are we prepare to change our mentality and behave? Whether it is no, we already know our future.
We have everything to changes our situation, the only one problem is ourselves. We are selfish waiting that someone amend our mistakes.
Do you think the Mayans could see its end step by step, like we can see our own end and they did not do anything to change that, it just like we are doing it right now?, Can we learn from our ancestors and changes?
