In this life, we’re taught to be strict with ourselves and forgiving toward others.

That’s how harmony grows—when we hold ourselves accountable, yet extend grace to those around us.

But lately, I’ve been noticing the opposite.

We’re quick to point fingers, to dissect the flaws of others, sometimes even harshly.

And when it comes to our own mistakes?

We brush them off.

Defend them.

Ignore them.

But I believe the world would be softer, kinder, if we all swapped lenses—just for a while.
