I drove to a shrine called Oumi Jingu this morning. There is a Japanese card game called "Hyakunin-Isshu" which has more than 1,200 years of history. The championships of Hyakunin-Isshu are held there, so this shrine is known as a sacred area for Hyakunin-Isshu.

"more than 1,200 years of history" is correct, but "more than 1,200 years old" is a little bit more natural.

Which usually needs a comma before it. You can replace it with that if you prefer, which doesn't need a comma (which sounds more elegant).
