Summary no. 69
Sergeant Brunswick and Mrs Groynes were still chatting. The Sergeant had always found it easy to talk to Mrs Groynes, to even confide in her. She did have a knack for putting people at ease. No wonder the Sergeant let his guard down and ended up disclosing many details about an ongoing investigation to her. Whether or not he had realised it, he wouldn’t have seen any harm anyway. Why should he be wary of such a lovely woman? Mrs Groynes was especially interested in a suspect that went by Bobby Melma. She asked many questions, even how he would go about finding him. Yet, the Sergeant didn’t sense* anything amiss.
