Instead of "traveled to," you might want to say "visited" or "went to." That's how I would say this in conversation.

Using “so many” to mean “very many” is fine in casual writing like text messages and social media posts, but not in most other types of writing.

“Water” on its own doesn’t work at the end of the sentence. You could say “types of beautiful, moving water” if that’s what you mean.
