Before Christmas

Before Christmas, I had a question that “Do muslims celebrate Christmas?”, so I looked up the Internet.
A columnist said, “Yes and no.” In the column, I learned a little about history of religion. It seems like there are various ways of thinking for religion.
He also said, “If people focus on the commonalities rather than the differences, we can get along.” I thought it was true.

In Japan, we often eat cakes and fried chickens at Christmas. When I watched the image of Christmas on a TV commercial, I wanted to eat them, so I ate pieces of strawberry sponge cake and some fried chickens from KFC.

クリスマスを前に、「イスラム教ではクリスマスを祝うのか？」と言う疑問が湧いたので、少しネットで調べてみた。あるコラムニストが言うには「イエス&ノー」らしい。そのコラムで少しだけ宗教の歴史の勉強をした。いろいろな考え方があるそうな。その人が言うには、「違いではなく、共通点に目を向ければ、仲良くできる」らしい。確かになぁと思った。

日本では、クリスマスにケーキやフライドチキンを食べる事が多い。テレビCMで見て食べたくなったので、いちごショートケーキとケンタッキーフライドチキンを食べたよ。
