My current goal(1)

My current goal is to become a Japanese teacher.
Now I’m going to tell you why I decided on this goal.

First of all, I’d like to explain my career and current situation a little bit.
I’ve been working as an English teacher at school, teaching children the age of three to twelve. I think teaching English to children is rewarding and it’s a perfect job for me.
However, since there are tons of duties I need to do besides teaching English, I don’t have enough time to focus on my work. Sometimes I can’t even prepare materials for lessons. I love interacting with the kids, but it’s too much for me.
I started thinking about changing jobs last year, but I had no idea what I should do.
So, at that time, I just decided to resume up and improve my English as a first step.
I tried to find some language partners, started talking to them in English.
Here is a turning point. One of my language partners is an American who is studying Japanese.
He often asks me questions about Japanese and I always do my best to answer them.
While I teach him Japanese, an idea came up in my mind. “If I could become a Japanese teacher, that would be great.”
