British English

British English is widely taught in Asia.
I started learning British English in 1994.
An English textbook from Longman Publishing House was used at that time.
Therefore, I am used to a British accent and like to listen to the BBC or Reuters news.
In college, I was exposed to American pronunciations such as /ˈwɑː.dɚ/.
