I think this translate to hurt? You can use eyeballs here if you want to be dramatic but eyes is more common. I rarely use eyeball as a word

I love the use of a metaphor at the end of a sentence. That said, fish is flipped in a pan (only a couple of times if you want a good sear!) and tossing and turning is more of a repetitive rolling motion. You could say "I keep flipping to the cold side of my pillow like a fish in a hot pan" or "I can't help tossing and turning like a boat braving a rough storm" (or if you have another analogy of something twisting/turning/restless/etc)

Superpower works in the first sentence because it's quite hard for everyone to instantly fall asleep. It's unattainable and therefore a superpower. In the second sentence, I removed superpower because this is attainable (but quite hard to do!).
