Barbecue with my Father.
This weekend my sister went to São Paulo to take a course and my nieces spent the weekend here at home. So my father went to the supermarket to buy a lot of meat, 'cause he wanted to have a barbecue on Sunday to please the girls.
I was against the idea, because a few weeks ago we had a barbecue and also the weather was very hot.
My father said that he would prepare the barbecue himself.
But in the end he left to go to the bar and I had to do everything myself. I hate it when he does that.
He came back drunk and with an unbearable personality.
Barbecue is something that is supposed to be fun and enjoyable, but this is not happening as it should.
In recent times, a simple barbecue at home has become something I don't like anymore.

This is okay for spoken or informal writing but in general I would recommend against starting a sentence with "so" and would use "because" instead of "cause". You could even merge this sentence with the previous one and in that case you could keep the "so"
