Because "study software, hardware, engineering, and technology" is a list of things you study, but this list is inside a bigger list (things you like to do), the items in the bigger list are separated with semicolons instead of commas.
I wannat to meet successful persons etcople.

"Wanna" is ok but is only used in very informal text (like a message between friends).
"Etc." is only used when there are at least 2 items in the list. Because there is only 1 item here, it should not be used.
