I believed in the Christian God when I was kid.
I used to go to church with friends every Sunday.
Why did I continue to attend to church?
It was probably because I looked forward to hanging out with friends there.
Of course,I liked to listen to the story of Abraham's family history and the Lord's Prayer and liked to sing the hymn even though I don't understand the phrase.
Now I don't go to church and I don't belong to any particular faith.
But I miss those days.

I have a similar experience - I enjoyed meeting my friend at church. But when she stopped going, I got very bored and didn't look forward to going as much.
