A while ago I saw two men at a supermarket entering from the exit. This shop has the entrance and the exit separately. The two men are not Japanese apparently. I think they're tourists and don't understand Japanese. I see sometimes some visitors from overseas wandering around the exit for the entrance, but in many cases they find out where the entrance is after observing the flow of the people. I think the shop must improve the sings since many tourists visit there recently.
Incidentally, it was the first time I saw those who confidently enter from the exit without any hesitating.

Based on the Japanese text, I think it would be better to say “The two men did not look Japanese.”

Since you are telling a story about something that happened in the past, you should use the past tense.

This sentence is fine! But personally, I would say “many tourists are going there recently.” That sounds more natural to me.

When I went to Japan with my family, my dad almost did this too. If I had not read the sign for him, he probably would have entered through the exit without hesitation. I agree, shops who have many tourists should have signs in other languages.
