Are Shanghai People Arrogant? (3)

I trained as an Assistant Supervisor in the Meat department. Everything went smoothly. Today I look back what I did in Shanghai at that time, I was a redneck.
When visiting Hormel Company ( an America Food Company ). I asked the American Sales Manager to take a photo with me. In most cases, they didn't reject me, but now I am not sure whether they liked to or not at the moment. One local Shanghai Supervisor said to me:" Take so many photos with foreigners, do you want to show them off when you get back hometown? " I gave him a smile without a word.
When writing down notes with a pencil. I saw it printed with:" Made in Germany", then I pointed the words to one of my friends. The French tutor might notice it and said loudly with a smile:" After class, you can take all pencils back, they're all prepared for you! "
When working in the supermarket. A 50-year old sales woman said to me:" Oh, you really look like our Shanghai people, you don't look like your colleagues. " One friend nearby immediately whispered to me:" This woman is wearing like a redneck in our place."
If our human beings are really created by God, does God know we are more complex than his expectation, maybe we are being out of control by God?

Corrections

I asked the American Sales Managers to take a photo with me.

plural

In most cases, they didn't reject me, but now I am not sure whether they would've liked to or not at the moment.

Would have liked - conditional (not sure) in the past (have liked)

One local Shanghai Supervisor said to me:" TakeYou're taking so many photos with foreigners, do you want to show them off when you get back to your hometown? "

Need a tense for "take"

The French tutor might have noticed it and said loudly with a smile:" After class, you can take all pencils back, they're all prepared for you!

I used have noticed not noticed because it was an event that came before "said"

One friend nearby immediately whispered to me:" This woman is wearacting like a redneck in our place."

Not sure what "wearing like a redneck in our place" means

If our human beings are really created by God, does God know we are more complex than his expectation, and that maybe we are being out of control byof God?

Need conjunction

of god- belonging to god

Good work! As a fellow native Chinese speaker I remember how different the grammar rules are and how they make one's thoughts hard to translate, but you did a good job

Thanks for your understanding! It's wonderful of you can speak fluently in two languages.

This line was a sentence fragment so I combined it with the next one.

I asked the American Sales Manager to take a photo with me.

In most cases, they didn't reject mfuse, but now I am not sure whether they liked to or not at the moment.

You already have "now" so you don't need the phrase "at the moment."

One local Shanghai Supervisor said to me:" T, " You take so many photos with foreigners, d. Do you want to show them off when you get back to your hometown? "

We use commas (,) after said, answered, replied, etc.

I gave him a smile without a wordsmiled at him.

When writing down notes with a pencil.

This is a fragment so I combined it with the next sentence.

I saw it prinWhen writing down noteds with: a pencil, I saw " Made in Germany", printed on it and then I pointed out the words to one of my friends.

The French tutor might notice it andso I said loudly with a smile:" , "After class, you can take all the pencils back, they're all prepared for you!

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here so this is my best guess.

"

When working in the supermarket.

This is another sentence fragment. A complete sentence has a subject and a verb.

AWhen working in the supermarket, a 50-year old sales woman said to me:" , "Oh, you really look like our Shanghai people, y. You don't look like your colleagues. "

One friend nearby immediately whispered to me:" , "This woman is wearing like a redneck in our place.

"

If our human beings are really created by God, does God know we are more complex than his expectation, maybe we are being out of control by God?what She/He/It expected? Maybe we are more wild than God intended.

I'm not sure what "maybe we are being out of control by God?" this means so this is my best guess.

Ugh, I don't like the term "redneck." I don't like labeling people. Otherwise, good work!

The French tutor guessed we liked the pencil, so he asked us to get it back home. :-)

Thank you! I guess the word "redneck" is too negative, It's also a new vocabulary to me. :-)

ohh, that's sweet! In that case my correction is this:

"The French tutor noticed and said loudly with a smile, "After class, you can take all the pencils home with you. They were all prepared for you!"

or

"They were all prepared with you in mind!"

It's very negative in my opinion. I also don't see it in formal writing very often unless it's fiction. Now I'm upset with the person who taught it to you!

I trained as an Assistant Supervisor in the Meat department.

Everything went smoothly.

Today I look back at what I did in Shanghai at that time, and realize (that) I was a redneck.

When visiting Hormel Company ( an America Food Company ).

This and the following sentence should be joined together into one using a comma: "When visiting Hormel Company (an American Food Company), I asked the American Sales Manager to take a photo with me.

In most cases, they didn't reject me, but now I am not sure whether they likwanted to or not atin the moment.

The meaning here is a little unclear - were you unsure whether they wanted to reject you in the moment?

One local Shanghai Supervisor said to me:" Take so many photos with foreigners, doif you want to show them off when you get back to your hometown? "

Again, the grammar (in the dialogue) makes the meaning a little unclear - is the Supervisor telling you to take photos?

When writing down notes with a pencil.

Merge with following sentence - dangling subordinate clause

I saw it printed with:" Made in Germany", then I pointed out the words to one of my friends.

The French tutor might notice it and said loudly with a smile:" After class, you can take all pencils back, they're all prepared for you!

A 50-year old sales woman said to me:" Oh, you really look like our Shanghai people, you don't look like your colleagues. "

One friend nearby immediately whispered to me:" This woman is wearingdressed like a redneck in our place.

If our human beings are really created by God, does God know we are more complex than his expectations, maybe we are being out of control by God?

The final phrase ('maybe we are being out of control by God') is a little unclear - 'maybe we are breaking away from God's control' or 'maybe God can no longer control us'?

Keep up the great work! I was interested in your text. I'd especially encourage you to continue working on your grammar - there were a few moments where grammatical mistakes made the meaning a bit ambiguous.

Not the supervisor asked me to take photos. He said to me the words after I finish it. I know it's hard to guess the meaning of the sentence. :-)

I see! In that case, perhaps the supervisor would say - 'You took so many photos with foreigners. Do you want to show them off when you get back to your hometown?'
