2. Tokyo DisneySea

We couldn't enter right after the park opened, so by the time we got in, the wait times for popular attractions like Toy Story Mania and Soarin’ had already exceeded an hour.

The Disney Premier Access (DPA) for the outdoor show I wanted to see was also sold out.
(It’s a paid access pass, similar to Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World.)

So, we headed to Aquatopia instead, which was one of our main goals for the day.

Aquatopia is an attraction where guests ride small vehicles that move seemingly at random over the water.
In reality, the vehicles run on a track, but it is designed so that guests cannot see it.

A similar ride system might be Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree at Disney California Adventure.

With its open waterfront views, it’s one of the attractions that really captures the spirit of Tokyo DisneySea.
After sunset, the retro-futuristic area is illuminated with fantastic lighting, creating a more magical and immersive experience than during the day.

It used to be one of the attractions we always rode whenever we visited Tokyo DisneySea, but unfortunately, it will close on September 14, 2026.
After the closure, the area will be redeveloped, with new facilities planned to open by 2035.
(The details have not been announced yet.)

Disney parks are constantly evolving. I'll miss it, but I’m also looking forward to experiencing what comes next.

this is honestly really good for academic writing since you used the word "exceeded correctly" :) to write it more like you were talking, you could say the wait times for popular attractions like Toy Story Mania and Soarin’ were over an hour long. but overall, I like your original sentence!

As for, "could be" and "might be", I do not think there is much of a difference, but "could" sounds a bit more formal to me. Since the tone in your paragraph sounds formal, I think it would fit :) adding "also" simply helps introduce the new topic in your paragraph

the second comma is a comma splice. It's hard to explain, but online if you look up comma splices, you can find a lot more information :)
