"The Fox and the Grapes"
A fox found a grape tree in a mountain. Grapes were on the branches higher of the tree. He thought that he would manage to reach some by jumping. But at the same time he felt something strange. “Why does only this tree have fruits even though the others don't? Uh-huh! Perhaps it's because the fruits on this tree must be so sour and awful that anyone wouldn't eat.” He was about to leave there. Suddenly, a strong wind blew. The stalk of a bunch of grape broke and it was going down. The fox was delight to open his mouth widely and caught it in his mouth. The fox chewed them cheerfully, and then a bitter juice sprashed from them in the mouth. “Yikes!!” He shouted and threw them up quickly. “Yucky!! What's this!” Just then, another strong wind blew and another bunch of grape was coming down. “Right! This time for sure!” The fox caught it in his mouth again. “Arrrgggg!! Gross!! No more!!!” The fox threw them up and went far away.
Lesson:
You can believe your hunch at times.

『キツネとぶどう』
一匹のキツネが山の中で一本のぶどうの木を見つけました。ぶどうの実は木の高い所になっていました。キツネは飛べば何とか手が届くだろうと考えました。しかし同時に妙だと感じました。「他の木は実がなってないのに、なんでこの木だけ実がなってるんだ？ はっはーん！この木の実だけ酸っぱくてマズいんだろ。だから皆食べないんだな。」キツネは立ち去ろうとしました。突然、強い風が吹きました。一房のぶどうの茎が切れて、下に落ちてきました。キツネは喜んで口を大きく開け、一房丸ごと口の中で受け止めました。勢いよく噛むと、口中にジュワーッと苦い汁が広がりました。「オエー!!」キツネは叫び、急いで吐き出しました。「まずっ!! 何だコレ!」すると、また強い風が吹き、また一房落ちてきました。「よし！今度こそ！」キツネはまた口でキャッチしました。「ギャー!! クソまず!! もういらんわ!!!」キツネは吐き出し、遠くへ去って行きました。
教訓:
たまには自分の勘を信じよう。
