I went to visit Die and Xian yesterday. I had lunch with X, and she told me that next Saturday, I could whatever I wanted to eat to her, then she would cook for me. I was expecting the day. Die asked the progress of the building construction of my neighbor's house. I told her that they had stopped since last time I had visited her. She said that I would be happy because they wouldn't bother me anymore. I nodded. However, it seemed that I was happy too early. They restart construting today. What's worse, they keep working at noon while I need to have a nap. I asked them to delay until half an hour later, but they refused and said that there would definitely be noisy when they were working. I was so angry that they were so selfish. I called the owner immediately and asked him to deal with this. He soon replied that the workers promised they woouldn't work until 1:30. I hated them so much but I couldn't do nothing because the police wouldn't deal with this.

I went to visit Die and Xian yesterday.

I had lunch with X, and she told me that, next Saturday, I could bring whatever I wanted to eat to her, then and she would cook for me.

I was expectinganticipating / waiting for / excited about the day.

Die asked about the progress of the building construction of my neighbor's house.

I told her that they had stopped since last time I had visited her.

She said that I wshould be happy because they wouldn't bother me anymore.

I nodded.

However, it seemed that I was happy too early.

This is technically correct, but sounds a little odd. Colloquially you could say "it seems I spoke too soon", which means the same thing and arguably can be used even when you didn't say anything.

They restarted constructiong today.

What's worse, they keep working at noon while I need to have a nap.

I asked them to delay untilfor half an hour later, but they refused and said that there would definitely be noisye when they were working.

I was so angry that they were so selfish.

I called the owner immediately and asked him to deal with this.

He soon replied that the workers promised they woouldn't workstart work again until 1:30.

"...they wouldn't work until 1:30." suggests they wouldn't start working at all that day until 1:30.

I hated them so much but I couldn't do noanything because the police wouldn't deal with this.

Feedback

I hope your neighbours finish constructing their house soon and you can get some peace and quiet! :)
