The person who own the house lives next to the old house. So I should've written "It belongs to Mr. Hirayama who lives next door to the house."
Maybe, it's his parents' house or his ground parents' house. and thank you for the word "motherhood". You are right the title is "Motherhood", but when I googled there were two Japanese movies that have the same title. What I talked about is the one the two main characters in the movie poster.
