How about baking the cookies together? You already know that I'm not as good at cooking as you, so your help would be more than welcome. After we finish the cookies, we could do something fun. Do you think we should go to the cinema? I saw that a new movie has just come up. Don't worry about the money, I'll pay for you. Also, if there isn't any buses, I can take you home.

It's her birthday all day, so you wouldn't say any specific time. If you meant her party is Saturday afternoon, you could say "Maria's birthday party is next Saturday afternoon, so I want to bake some (cookies) to bring."
