An articel on ageism

Dear Readers,

I considered this topic really interesting. Because of this I would like to share my opinion. Young people respect elderly people in my country and there are several retirees who still are working. As employees they are appreciated, but they earn more less.

It is a significant problem that the most of them have to work still after approaching retirement. It is crucial that the government provide appropriate livelihood for retirees.

My personal experience was happened a couple of years. I was driving when I noticed a young man who helped an elderly lady to walk through the crosswalk. It was a selfless gesture from him.
Perhaps, if people would focus on such deeds like this and the humility for the older people, we could understand the feelings of the older adults. Additionally, it could help if we talk about this condition honestly for instance on the TV.

Best regards

Clara
