An Ancient Poem about Yuyao

I've hiked to Yuyao several times. It's a county in Zhejiang Province, belonging to Ningbo City.

There are many mountains and small villages in Yuyao. Every time I just followed my hiking group. We haven't been in the same mountains yet.

The scenery was very beautiful, sometimes I wrote it down.

I found a poem about it today, which was written by its magistrate about 1000 years ago. The poem describes the mountains, water, temples, and plants. They look like the scenery I saw so much.

it's fun to find some connections through time.

I've hiked toin Yuyao several times.

“I’ve hiked TO Yuyao” means the way you got to Yuyao was by hiking on foot. I think you mean you’ve hiked on various trails IN Yuyao.

An Ancient Poem about Yuyao

I've hiked to Yuyao several times.

It's a county in Zhejiang Province, belonging to Ningbo City.

There are many mountains and small villages in Yuyao.

Everyach time I go hiking, I just followed my hiking group.

We haven't been in never hiked the same mountains yettwice.

The phrase "in the mountains" might be used when talking about the entire range of mountains in that area, or to say that you are walking through tunnels inside of mountains. It seems like here you are saying that each time you go on a hike, you are hiking on a different mountain, so you might say something like this instead.

The scenery is always very beautiful,; sometimes I wrote it downite about it.

Since you are talking about more than one hike, it makes more sense to say "the scenery is always very beautiful" instead of saying "the scenery was very beautiful." You might use this second sentence if you were talking about a single visit to the mountains that happened in the past.

I found a poem about it today, which was written by itsa magistrate about 1000 years ago.

They lookIt sounds just like the scenery I saw so muchee whenever I visit the mountains.

"Look" is used when you physically see something with your own eyes. When talking about words that you are reading, you would typically use "sound."

This sounds like such a beautiful area. I would love to visit these mountains some day. Thank you for sharing!

An Ancient Poem about Yuyao

I've hiked to Yuyao several times.

It'sYuyao a county in Zhejiang Province, belonging to Ningbo City.

First sentence is fine, but this sounds more natural.

There are many mountains and small villages in Yuyao.

The scenery was very beautiful, so sometimes I wrote it down.

I found a poem about it today, which that was written by itYuyao's magistrate about 1000 years ago.

It's confusing if "it" doesn't refer to the same thing. If the first "it" refers to the scenery, then you should change the second it to a noun.

They look like the scenery I saw so much of.

iIt's fun to find some connections throughacross time.

Thank you for your correction. I learned a lot from it.

An Ancient Poem about Yuyao

I've hiked to Yuyao several times.

It's a county-level city in Zhejiang Province, belonging to the sub-provincial city of Ningbo City.

A county generally contains multiple cities. I looked up Yuyao and Ningbo on Wikipedia to use their proper terms, although I think "county-level city" and "sub-provincial city" are China-specific terms that I haven't heard of before.

There are many mountains and small villages in Yuyao.

Every time I just followed my hiking group.

We haven't been invisited the same mountains twice yet.

The scenery was very beautiful, so sometimes I wroite it downabout it.

I found a poem about itYuyao's scenery today, which was written by its magistrate about 1000 years ago.

I was a little confused about what "it" is referring to here.

The poem describes the mountains, watrivers, temples, and plantsgreenery.

Stylistic recommendation using words more commonly used to describe nature

They look like the scenery I saw so much scenery I saw really matched the description in the poem.
