Amazon’s Amazing Return Service　アマゾンの返却サービス

I ordered a pair of shoes on Amazon, and they arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, the size was too big. Since they were needed in a hurry, I immediately ordered the same pair in a smaller size and decided to return the larger ones. I thought I would have to take them to a delivery center, but it turned out I didn’t have to. Instead, I could just drop them off at a nearby convenience store. All I had to do was let the camera on the locker scan the QR code from Amazon’s email and put the item inside.
I dropped it off around noon, and by the evening, the refund had already been issued as Amazon gift credit. I was surprised at how quickly and easily something I thought would be a hassle was completed.
Now, I’m just waiting for the new pair to arrive. On Amazon’s website, I can even see a map showing where the delivery driver is. It says the order will arrive after three more stops. I think it’s an amazing service.

靴をアマゾンで注文した。昨日届いたが、あいにくサイズが大きすぎた。急いで必要なものだったので、昨日のうちに、一つ小さいサイズを注文し、届いたものは返品することにした。宅急便センターにもっていかなきゃいけないだろうと思っていたら、近所のコンビニのボックスについているカメラでQRコードを読み取らせ、商品を入れるだけでよかった。今日のお昼ごろにコンビニにもっていったのだが、アマゾンギフト券が夜にすでに入金されていた。めんどくさいとおもっていたことが、あっけなく終わってびっくりしている。 あとは、注文した靴が届くのを待つだけだ。アマゾンのページを見てみたら、今配送員がどこにいるかが地図上で表示された。あと3件後に届くらしい。いつ届くのかがわかる、素晴らしいサービスだと思う。
