I saw the news about Akira Toriyama's death.
I'm shocked. He was only 68 years old, which is too early.

ショックだ。まだ68歳だったそうで早すぎる。
鳥山明さんは『ドラゴンボール』や『Dr.スランプ』などで有名な漫画家だ。
漫画の他にも、『ドラゴンクエスト』や『クロノ・トリガー』などのゲームのイラストも担当した。
同じ愛知県出身ということで、親近感もあった。
『Dr.スランプ』の舞台になったペンギン村は、愛知県にある町がモデルになったとも言われている。
これからももっと新しい作品を見せてほしかった。
