Addiction

Human has very variety of addictions, for example, alcohol, cigarettes, porn, social media...those are very common.
Personally, I have been addicted to mint for a while.
I use toothpaste with a strong mint flavor, eat a lot of Mentos and Airwaves. Although you might think it is just a personal preference, I do believe it is an addiction for me because I would feel a bit anxious if I couldn't have mint products at hand.
I have read a book about addiction, it said that humans become addicted to something because of a feedback loop, and mint does give me that; the strong flavor and the textures of mint candies create strong feedback in my brain.
I should better quit it, after all, eating too much mint might not be good for my stomach.

Feedback

That's interesting! Do you feel stomach pains? It would be better if you could control the anxiety without the mints, but I don't think it's bad for your health depending on how many of those you eat a day. Some sweets have a laxative effect so that could be bad.

Not really, , but the sugar and aspartame in mint candies might not be good for my body, and finding a better way to deal with anxiety would be worth trying.
Thanks for your correction!

You got a point there haha, and thank you for your correction!

Human has veryPeople have a wide variety of addictions, for example, alcohol, cigarettes, porn, social media...thoese are very common.

social media...these are very common. Breaking up the sentence with the ... is definitely something I would do as a native speaker, but I also know that using it is a very casual way of writing. In formal writing, I would say "cigarettes, porn, and social media. These are very common."

Personally, I have been addicted to mint for a while.

Although you might think it is just a personal preference, I do believe it is an addiction for me because I would. I feel a bit anxious if I couldan't have mint products aton hand.

I would feel a bit anxious if I couldn't have - for some reason this sounds unnatural to me, but I can't put a finger on why.

I have read a book about addiction, itwhich said that humans become addicted to something because of a feedback loop, and mint does give medo that; to me. The strong flavor and the textures of mint candies create a strong feedback loop in my brain.

I should better quit it, aquit eating mint. After all, eating too much minof it might not be good for my stomach.

You could also say: I should quit OR I better quit eating mint. The last phrasing is a very casual way to express it.
