Passive learning is studying too, only its effectiveness and function are different. If your aim is to gain a general general idea or knowledge about something, if you hear the target language/ information you can recognize it but you don’t have to actively use it orally/ written i.e. you only want to gain knowledge at the level of recognition, then that is perfectly fine too. However, if you not only want to know something superficially, but also want to use it in practice, you have to make learning active. The essence of active learning is that you are involved in the learning process too. Not only do you get external stimuli (there are inputs), but you also start using it orally, in writing, in practice (there is also output), in other words, you not only take it in, but you do it. This is the biggest difference between passive and active knowledge.

The grammar is good, but the sentence is a bit long.

Not only do you get external stimuli (there areis inputs), but you also start using ityour knowledge orally, in writing, and in practice (there is also output), i. In other words, you not only take it in, but you doapply it.
I would still use the singular word 'input'. It's similar to how in English there is "a single hair" and "lots of hair", but the word "hairs" is only used when talking about a countable number of hairs. The external stimuli can refer to many different general resources for active learning input.
I broke up the sentence into two so it can flow better and is not too long.
It isn't completely clear what 'it' is (e.g. using it orally, in writing, and in practice). I think it could be replaced with 'your knowledge' to be more specific.
This is the biggest difference between passive and active knowledge.

This writing is definitely higher than the A1 beginner level. Good job.
