today
It has been raining all day today. The same goes for the areas around Shanghai.
That's why I didn't go hiking this weekend.
Instead, I had a city walk this morning.
I came across some beautiful cherry blossoms and captured some for you: https://youtube.com/shorts/Ln4Bm78ozbQ?si=EPq9XW9hHdBe4olY

The context is missing here since we don't know what "the same goes" refers to. It would nice to include in your first sentence where is it raining all day today and then when you say "the same goes" it would be more meaningful.

You could also say you “captured some images of them.”
“Captured them” on its own doesn’t feel idiomatic to me because it usually means you physically captured them. For example, if you said “I saw some beautiful birds and captured them for you,” this would mean you physically caught them (in your hands or in a net or trap).

Some suggestions for the video:
• Title: change “in” to “on” — “on a rainy day”
• “east bank”: I hear “eastuh”
• “river”: I hear “reever”
• “magnificent”: I hear “magneeficeent”
• “in full bloom”: I hear “een” instead of “in”
• “cheerful”: I hear “chairiful” but maybe you did this on purpose to go with the “cherry” theme of the video?
I like your voice—it’s very expressive.
