A Video Captured While Cycling
My old friends on this website may know that I enjoy cycling along the Huangpu River on weekends when I don't have hiking plans that week.
That was what I did last Saturday.
Along the trail, many trees became beautiful and colorful, so I took some videos with random shots while riding my bike. Although I'm good at cycling, the videos were a little messy. After all, they were just a byproduct of my cycling.
I'd been hesitating whether or not to show you the video after I edited it. The view was way more beautiful than the video. Then I thought, after watching this video, maybe you could have one more option when you visit Shanghai someday.

If you’d had hiking plans, wouldn’t they have been for the weekend, too? If so, you can omit “that week.”

Sorry, I don’t fully understand the byproduct analogy. Are you saying “My goal was to enjoy cycling, so I didn’t put a lot of effort into the videos”? Or maybe “Taking videos wasn’t the main purpose of my outing”?

I enjoyed the video. I even recognized some sections of the path from one of your earlier videos. :-)
I went to Shanghai three times about 10 years ago and jogged on a bike path along the 黄浦江, but I was on the 浦东 side of the river. There weren’t as many trees as in your video. :-)
