Some years ago, when I was young, I done a travel to Hastings by train to see this famous battlefield in the south of england. When I went down i the station, I still remember a pleasant smell of the air to humid ground. Now, when I smell something similar, I always remember that trip to Hasting.

Some years ago, when I was young, I done a traveled to Hastings by train to see this famous battlefield in the sSouth of eEngland.
When I went down into the station, I still rememberthe air had a pleasant smell ofrom the air to humiddamp ground.
This sentence had mixed tenses.
Humid is usually only used to describe air. Damp means wet but not soaked.
Now, whenever I smell something similar, I always remember that trip to Hastings.
