Just 10 minutes ago, I finished a small conservation with an Indian middle-aged lady in Britain. Now, Id like to draw a small conclusion based on our talks. I don't know weather her words correct or wrong, I'd also to note I don't fact-checked on her statements or conduct any searches on the internet.
About 5% of local British people are identified as Christian, and the number of Christian have decreased. Proportion of Muslims, however, contribute around 4.4%, which is slightly lower than Christian community.
More Indians attend church compared to local people. The main factor probably due to the latter are concerning more on jobs for money, hence a lot of them have no time to pray in church.
As a Christian herself, the Indian lady often pray God help to convert more Muslims to Christianity.
