It's a summer day that started out with cloudy weather. I decided to put on a light black jacket to keep myself warm and headed for my driving lesson. I also took an umbrella, just in case it started raining. Because recently I got caught by a heavy rain. I would even say a stormy rain. Luckily, only my clothes was fully drenched, and I emerged out of it fully in tact.
By the time I reached the place where my driving lessons start the clouds dissipated and the sun started shining heavily and we are back to a scorching hot day. I'm yet to master my driving. Having a yelling instructor doesn't help much. However, he has changed his approach to a more silent way of teaching.
When I finally returned home, I drank some coffee with some dark chocolate, drinking some supplements along the way. I listened to a Harry Potter audiobook and then I sat down behind my laptop. That's when I noticed my old broken phone on the table. It broke last December. I remember the exact day, it broke on Decemeber 29th. I was only half surprised. Why half? Well, that phone had a history of meeting with an asphalt surface and surviving with only a little scratch. You should have seen how it fell. I'm a tall person, the phone fell about 5-6 years ago when a friend of mine decided to give me a fright and jumped at me from behind. I happen to be speaking on the phone. I dropped it out of fright. To my surprise, the phone continued working properly!
But last year, the battery on the phone became weaker and weaker. The charge only lased for a day. In December we had some harsh winter days and in those days the battery died before about mid afternoon. On December 29th I discharged before noon and I recharged but then I died again and never went back to life.
I then took it to a repair shop where I learned that it's impossible to fix due to some problem with a motherboard. So I thought I would sell it for parts. At one place I was given a price of 150 rubles. Which is very little. After a couple of months I happened to stumble upon another repair shop so I asked how much they would give me for the broken phone. They gave a double price of 300 rubles. I brought the phone and the guy, looking at the phone, suggested that he would try to repair the phone and I agreed. He thought that the problem was with a display. We then ordered a brand-new display from China and it took 2 months to deliver.
However, after him trying to repair the phone, he came to the same conclusion - the motherboard is dead and couldn't be revived. So now the phone is sitting at my desk and I'm thinking of going to a shop and selling for 150 rubles. Yes, it's a ridiculously low price. But should I better throw it in the garbage?
It' was a summer day that started out with cloudy weather.
What is the tense of your story? You should keep the same tense throughout.
I decided to put on a light blackgrey jacket to keep myself warm and headed for my driving lesson.
No one ever says "light black". We only say "grey". (gray)
BI did this because recently I got caught by a heavy rain.
Grammar rules say you can't talk a sentence with "because".
I would even say a stormy rain.
Luckily, only my clothes was fullyere drenched, and I emerged out of it fully in tact.
Drenched already means "fully". One cannot get more wet than "drenched"
Similarly, intact means "whole"; can something become more "whole"?
By the time I reached the place where my driving lessons started, the clouds dissipated and the sun started shining heavily andbrightly. We we are back to a scorching hot day.!
Sun shines brightly. The essence of sunlight is air so we would not describe it as heavy.
Use ! to extress the extreme change in weather.
I'm am yet to master my driving.
Having a yelling instructor who yells doesn't help much.
When I finally returned home, I drank some coffee with some dark chocolate, drintaking some supplements alongt the waysame time.
Did you drink coffee mixed with dark chocolate? Did you have a mocha?
Unless the supplements are liquid, we "take" pills.
I listened to a Harry Potter audiobook and then I sat down behindat my laptop.
I remember the exact day, --it broke on Decemeber 29th.
Well, that phone had a history of meeting with an asphalt surface and surviving with only a little scratch.
there is an idiom "surving with only a scratch". It means little so we don't add the word little.
I'm a tall person, the phone fell about 5-6 years ago when a friend of mine decided to givscare me a fright andby jumpeding at me from behind.
"give me a fight" sounds very Victorian, like a older English lady with grey hair who grabs at her pearls and fans herself because someone "gave her a fright". Are you 80 years old? And from the UK? If not, no one "gives you a fright". :). :D.
I happened to be speaking on the phone.
I dropped it out of fright.
This is completely okay.
To my surprise, the phone continued working propererfectly!
The charge only lasted for a day.
In December we had some harsh winter days and in those days the battery died before about mid afternoon.
On December 29th Iit discharged before noon and I recharged but then Iit died again and never went back to lifewould never turn on again.
Other than being "discharged from the military", discharge generally used to refer to fluids leaving the body...
I then took it to a repair shop where I learned that it' was impossible to fix due to some problem with a motherboard.
tense
At one place I was given a price of 150 rubles., which is very little.
More idiomatic would be "which is nothing"
Which is very little. (see comment)
Incomplete sentence.
They gave asaid double the price of --300 rubles.
He thought that the problem was with athe display.
We then ordered a brand-new display from China and it took 2 months to delarriver.

But should I better throwIt's better than throwing it in the garbage?, right?
Or: Would it be better that I throw it into the garbage?
"But should I better throw it in the garbage" feels like the direct translation of an idiom in your language that does not translate to English. It has the structure of like Yiddish phrases, but doesn't translate to English.

Really great short story. Great job because imagine it took a bit of time to write all that down.
Yeah, go get those 150 rubles. :)
Be sure to pay attention to your tenses during storying telling.
