a social malaise #2

With every positive, there are negatives. A saying from my mother coms to mind, " a warm bed only feeds indolence." For an example of my mother's words, look no further than the democratic state of California. Democrats are metaphorically making up this war bed for lazy people to lie in. They are doing this by increasing the budgets for building apartments that serve the poor and providing free food and more than three hundred-dollar subsides per week for the homeless. A report shows, during the coronavirus disease spreading, the state government has been paying the bills for the homeless who live in a four-star hotel. What a slap clouts to the face of hard-working people and taxpayers. For the Democrats, that is a smart way, charming poor's eyes and wooing tickets. But the cost is heavy in the future. Youth will be inspired by the idea which reaping without sowing. As some know, for now, the majority of homeless don't need to worry about their lives. If they pee in front of the offices, they will get what they want. Like my mother said, " the crying infant gets milk." Some joked that that is human progress, and I agree. But seriously, in a long term, this situation will become a social malaise.

please help me to edit my paragraph for sounds more native. thank you very much

As some know, for nowfar as these young people can see, the majority of homeless individuals don't need to worry about their lives for now.

"people" is also good. "individuals" is more formal, polite, and academic. You can choose either one.

The way I changed "as some know" makes those two sentences mean: "The youth see homeless people and learn that most homeless people don't need to worry about their lives. Some homeless people have struggles in life - being homeless is not actually fun. But the young people don't know that and so they might think that being homeless is a good choice."

IfAll they have to do is pee in front of the government offices, and they will get what they want.

Like my mother said, " tThe crying infantbaby gets the milk."

Because you are quoting your mother, I think it's best to leave the idiom as is rather than change it to the English squeaky wheel one.

A saying from my mother comes to mind,: " aA warm bed only feeds indolence."

"Indolence" is very formal-sounding, although it works given the context. A less-formal option could be: "A warm bed only encourages laziness."

For an example of my mother's words, look no further than the dDemocratic-led state of California.

"Democratic" makes me think that you're talking about the state's form of government, rather than their dominant political party.

Good! On a personal note, I'd argue that California (and the US in general) has provided very few services to homeless people and this has not resulted in lower numbers of homeless in the country. Perhaps changing our tactics and providing the basics for people so that they can get back on their feet will lead to a different outcome? We shall see! :)

In my opinion, the number of homeless people in California has increased. I blame this issue for Democrat. If still let the democratic led the state, the situation will be worse. politicians are fawning the poor for the vote. I agree what your opinion. the state has provided very few services, but each project cost a lot. I feel just unfair. Even if I don't like President Trump, I believe he has enabled making America great again. Confront the lazy people and conceited party, Trump is not the best. but he is the right one that we only can pick.

by the way, can you get me some suggestions to progress my English writing? thank you
