So far, I don't think I can read English newspapers. I tried it a few times, but there was a lot of new vocabulary. I can read many English learning materials.

You are really something! I can't imagine how you can master that many languages. English has already driven me crazy. I won't learn a second foreign language. My brain is not good enough to learn languages.
Escalators are mainly used in malls. They have two handrails for passengers to hold. So to be precise, they should be called 扶梯 in Chinese, but some Chinese people still call them 电梯. But for the elevators that are used in tall buildings, because they have no handrail, so you can’t call them 扶梯, they can only be called 电梯.
