I am always excited to receive your messages.

After I receive your messages, I will listen to them a few times first to see if I am able to fully understand them, then I will write them down.

If I meet some words that I don't know, I will figure them out by using some audio apps. WeChat also has the function to transfer audio to text.

After that, I read your words in mind repeatedly to see how you make sentences.

This method is very helpful. I can learn natural and authentic expressions.

I like the way we communicate by sending voice messages. I have no pressure to give you responses because I have enough time to do it.

This is the first time I have heard the idiom "have fallen off the face of the earth". I looked for it in my translation apps and I have gotten its meaning. In Chinese, it's "从地球上消失了"

I am very glad to know that you can change your workplace easily. In China, it's very difficult to change your work place, especially when you are a government employee.

Sometimes you might work in the same place for your lifetime.

But if you work for a private company, that's very easy because you can change your job at your will.

I also like the environment when you work in the up north of Canada. I still remember those pictures of lakes and nature.

Yes, living in cities is more convenient than in the countryside. You can get what you want without going too far.

This summer here it was really hot. The temperature was around 39 degrees Celsius for about a month. During which, if I didn't need to work, I only stayed at home and studied English.

Anyway, the temperature nowadays is very nice and it's roughly ranging from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius.

I haven't written in English for months because somehow I lost my motivation.

But now, I feel I have many things that I want you to know, so I write a lot.

I am very happy that I can write to you again. You don't know how important you are in my English learning journey.

Let me stop here, best regards always.

Great job! Everything was very understandable, I've just made some edits for grammar and to sound a bit more natural.
It sounds like your friend is very helpful :)

I am always excited to (receive/get) your messages.

Receive is a little formal. You can also use "get".

After I receive your messages, I will listen to them a few times first to see if I am able to fully understand them, then I will write them down.

To describe a routine the present tense is best. However your sentence makes sense and is grammatically correct as written :)

If I meet(find/encounter) some words that I don't know, I will (figure them out by/look them up) using some audio apps.

1. "Meet" can be used for people and some other ideas like challenges or resistance but doesn't work well for words.
2. I prefer "look up" here. To me, "figure out" is for more complicated problems.

WeChat also has the function to transfer audio to text.

After that, I read your words in my mind repeatedly to see how you make sentences.

This method is very helpful.

You write very well -- everything was clear and understandable. I only provided a few alternatives where I felt the language could be more natural. Nice work, and let me know if you have any questions :)

Very minor point - what you have is perfectly understandable, but not completely 'natural'

Excellent work, you write clearly and fluently. I've tweaked a couple of things to make them sound a little more 'natural', but they're really minor points. Keep it up!!
