The extra comma before "though" is just for conventions' sake; I don't know exactly why this has to occur in English, but it does.

this entire sentence is correct but this is how i would write it:

We often say that other people are better than us because of they can do something with little effort (innate talent). We then lament that we won't achieve things no matter how hard we try.

It doesn't matter though, and the key beauty of this world is diversity.
