A Professional Reciter
Among many Japanese reciters on YouTube, I think Hitoshi Kubota is the best. I read that he was a professional reciter and had classes to teach the technique.
It seems reciters maintain their style whatever they read. Sometimes, they have to read emotional lines or lines of the opposite gender, but they seem to have assigned a pattern for such occasions.
Kubota's style is simple and elegant. He has a pleasant tenor. He doesn't seem to go far to pick a story that is out of his range. And this is why I always know that I can relax by listening to his recitation.

朗読家というのはどうやら何を読んでも自分のスタイルを守るものらしいです。時には、感情的なセリフや異性のセリフも読まなければなりませんが、そのような場面にはパターンを決めてあるようです。
窪田さんのスタイルはシンプルで上品です。この方の声は心地よいテノールです。ご自身の守備範囲を超えるような作品は選ばないようにされているようで、おかげで、この方の朗読なら、いつでも落ち着けると思っていられます。

By the way you wrote it, it sounds like there is a single technique that will make you a good narrator. You could instead say "the techniques (to become a great narrator)" or "narration techniques."

I'm not sure what you mean by "assigned a pattern." Did you maybe mean "a set pattern"? Like if they have to, they read those lines using the same tone every time.
If that's what you meant, then "a go-to delivery" is a very natural way to say that when talking about narrating passages. "Go-to" = something they're very comfortable with or use if they're unsure. "Delivery" = the way they say the lines.

I wasn't able to find Hitoshi Kubota's YouTube channel, so I assumed you meant he was a narrator. Narrators are people who tell stories, especially in sound and video. TV shows, movies, audiobooks, videogames, etc. That sort of thing.
You could also call him a storyteller, if that's appropriate. Storytelling involves a more personal and creative approach than reciting a prewritten passage. Since you referred to him as a reciter, I thought "narrator" was a better word.
