I'd like to understand the word "aware" and I made a short story using it.
When a boy was 5 years old, his father yelled at him so much.
The boy was too young to understand why he got yelled at, but he just cried.
Since then he has been scared of his father.
Now he has turned 10 years old and he is still always aware of his father's mood. (by his facial expressions)
Does this use sounds okay? or are there any better expressions in this situation?

You've got the meaning down! "Aware of his father's mood" is okay but in this case "wary of his father's mood" might work better since it is a bit more negative.

"Aware" in your sentence sounds good to me. There are some other words/expressions you also could use instead of "aware" in your sentence (like "mindful of" and "conscious of"). But these words basically just have the same meaning as "aware."
