Today it was fun. I hadn't seen my cousin in a while due to Covid-19; she lives in another city and we aren't allowed to go to other provinces in order not to spread the virus. But she has gotten travel documents and was able to come here, so today we have met each other at last. She is the same age as me and we have grown up together, so we are cousins and we get along great.
We have gone to the mall with some friends for having lunch and hanging out. We have eaten at Five Guys because I fancy french fries in there, but the waitress told us that XL-size it was too much for one person to eat and I listened to her. My mistake! I would have eaten more fries because they are delicious and I was hungry. But I guess not eating a lot of french fries is healthy, so maybe she was just taking care of me, hehe.
We have also gone shopping and I have bought one bottle of cologne and one sweater. But the best part is that we have all laughed a lot. It's awesome how wonderful are simple things in life and how these horrible times are making us realize that we people are happier when we can be together.
P.S: today I also feel that I write like a seven years old boy.

Today it was fun.
I hadn't seen my cousin in a while due to Covid-19; she lives in another city and we aren't allowed to go to other provinces in order not to spread the virus.
But she has gotten travel documents and was able to come here, so today we have met each other at last.
She is the same age as me and we have grown, we grew up together, so and we a're cousins andso we get along great.
Saying "so we are cousins" makes it sound like you're cousins because you're the same age and you grew up together.
We have gonewent to the mall with some friends for having lunch and hangito hang out.
Went is the conjugation for the verb "to go" in the past tense, because it happened earlier you'd say "We went to..." instead. Here you'd say "for lunch" because eating lunch is the reason you went to the mall.
We have eaten at Five Guys because Ithey have fancy french fries in there, but the waitress told us that XL-size it was too much for one person to eat and I listened to her.
Ate is the conjugation for the verb "to eat" in the past tense.
My mistake!

Went is the conjugation for the verb "to go" in the past tense, so you "went shopping." In English we'd say we bought a bottle if it's just one item.
But the best part is that we have all laughed a lot.

Feedback
This was good and not like a seven year old boy at all :)
There were some gramatical mistakes with the way you used some verbs, but it was still understandable and they're very easy mistakes to fix. Overall very well done, and I'm glad you had such a good time with with your cousin.
