A Festival You shouldn't See
I read an interesting article.
It said there is a festival called “Festival you shouldn't see.”
Moreover, it's the first time I've heard about it, even though it's being held in Aichi Prefecture, where I live.
It is said that bad things will happen to you if you see the festival being held in town.
However, the number of people who do not know about the festival is increasing, because you shouldn't see, then its survival is in danger, so filming is allowed for the first time in more over 300 years.
They said it's okay to see through the camera, but is that true?
I was a bit scary then I didn’t see a video about that.

しかも私が住んでいる愛知県の祭りなのに、初めて聞いた。

Not important I wish I understood this better but this a mistake my girlfriend makes too and it's definitely a common Japanese/English mistake, the way we translate scary and scared must be kind of weird but scared is an emotional state and scary is a description of things that make you feel scared.
怖い vs 怖がる I think.
