A Branch of Spring
I brought a branch of a peach tree home from the hike trail two weeks ago.
The farmer pruned it from a tree and threw it on the ridge. I guess he was trying to make the tree hold the energy for the flowers that could grow into peaches.
Anyway, the peach branch is growing some leaves and has a bud this morning.
I'm so happy that there's a branch of spring at my apartment now.
两周前，我从徒步路上捡了一枝桃树回家。
当地的农人把它从树上剪下来扔在了田埂上。我猜他是想让这棵树储存能量，在将来开的花都长成桃子。
不管怎么说，今天早上这条桃枝长出了一些叶子，还长出了一个花蕾。
好开心啊！ 现在我的家里有了一枝春色。

I brought a branch of a peach tree home from the hike trail two weeks ago.
The farmer pruned it from a tree and threwossed it on the ridge.
"Threw" sounds a little too forceful.
I guess he was trying to make the tree hold the energy forretain energy so more of the flowers that couldcan grow into peaches.
"Hold" is unclear as it has too many meanings, so I changed it to "retain" which is clearer in this context.
Anyway, the peach branch is growing some leaves and has a bud this morning.
I'm so happy that there's a branch of spring at my apartment now.
