La scène: Trois amis font une randonnée dans le Pays Basque pendant leur vacances d'été et parlent de n'importe quoi.

J = Jaques
C = Charles
É «Le gars, si vous pourriez être un animal, lequel serez-vous ?
J — J'sais pas mec. Probablement un animal puissant et féroce. Donc je suppose que je serai un kangourou.
C — Un kangourou ? Te pense qu'ils sont féroces ?
J — Ouais carrément. Ils affronteront n'importe quoi. Un carcajou, des chiens sauvages, un touriste au hasard, quoi que ce soit. En plus, ils sont hyper musclé. J'aimerais avoir un corps comme eux.
C — Je n'ai jamais entendu un truc d'ouf pareille.
J — Je le trouve très raisonnable. Tu serais quoi ?
C — Un chien. Je pourrais rester allongé toute la journée et ne pas avoir à bosser. Un peu cliché mais voilà. C'est une belle vie quand même. Et toi, Étienne ?
É — Un méduse.
C — Et pourquoi ?
É — Je imagine que la vie serait calme, tranquille et que je n'aurais pas besoin de communiquer avec qui que ce soit ou quoi que ce soit parce que je n'aurais même pas de bouche. La vie ne serait qu'une faible série de lumières. Quand je mourrais, en supposant je n'étais pas l'une des méduses immortelles maudites, ce serait presque comme si j'étais encore en vie. Seulement avec moins de lumière, pas qu'il y en ait beaucoup de toute façon.
J — Ça va ?
É — Ouais, je rigole. Charles a pris mon choix. Je ne savais pas quoi dire.

La scène : Une femme est appuyée contre un taxi et parle brièvement à son fiancé avant qu'il rentre chez lui. Un autre homme, son ami de travail, l'attend en arrière-plan devant une boîte de nuit.
L = Léa
P = Pierre. Le fiancé.
J = Jean. L'ami de Léa du travail.
L « T'es sure que t'as pas envie de rester ici ? Ça fait longtemps depuis t'as vu tous nos amis !
P — Désolée chérie, je suis claqué. C'est tout.
L — C'est bon. Je te reverrai à la maison !
P — Ok. Et ne danse pas trop fort, hein ? Essaies d'économiser de l'énergie pour la piste de danse à notre mariage la semaine prochaine.
[Elle rit.]
P — Hé Jean ! Le fiancé dit à l'autre homme ; pouvez-vous garder un œil sur elle ? Pas de téquila. Le fait qu'elle ait de la tequila après minuit équivaut à de la nourriture pour un Mogwai. Elle devient une véritable gremlin. Tu verras.
J — Ok, je le ferai.
L — Comme t'es méchant Pierre ! Juste un peu de téquila. C'est bon pour la santé. Bonne nuit !
P — Salut mon cœur !
[Pierre part.]
J — Ça roule ?
L — Ne pourrait pas être mieux. Surtout après que je t'ai pris tout ton sou au poker plus tôt au casino.
[Il rit.]
J — Je peux te dire quelque chose ?
L — A propos de quand tu veux me donner le reste de ton argent ? On peut y retourner. Pourtant, je te préviens. Je ne perds pas !

J — Ouais mais c'est une exception qui confirme la règle. Je t'aime sincèrement. Je sais que c'est un mauvais moment mais c'est ainsi. J'avais juste besoin que tu saches.

Kucingku dan makhluk misterius
Setiap malam kucingku tidur di atas ranjangku. Pada malam hari Rabu, sebelum aku tidur, aku memperhatikan sepertinya dia mendengarkan sesuatu. Aku tidak banyak memikirkannya. Semuanya tahu pendengaran kucing lebih sensitif daripada yang manusia. Aku berpikir dia bisa mendengar sesuatu di luar rumah, karena ada banyak jendela di kamar tidurku.
Jam 1 pagi, aku terbangun karena kucingku berlari di sekitar ranjangku. Kucingku selalu tidur sepanjang malam tanpa bermain dengan mainannya. Kemudian aku mengingat dia tadi mendengar sesuatu yang tidak aku lihat. Aku tiba-tiba sadar pasti ada suatu jenis binatang kecil di kamar tidurku. Mungkin ada tikus atau serangga besar, tapi aku jauh lebih takut karena kemungkinan ada ular yang bisa menggigit kucingku.
Aku menyalakan lampu dan melihat kucingku menatap ke bawah lemari di sebelah ranjangku. Aku tidak bisa melihat binatang kecil apa pun di bawah lemarinya, bahkan dengan memakai senter. Aku menunggu untuk waktu yang lama. Sesudah beberapa lama, kucingku dan aku keduanya menyerah. Apa pun yang kucingku kejar mungkin melarikan diri. Aku senang sekali dia tidak luka dan makhluk misterius itu belum kembali sejak malam itu!

Am Ende des Tages denke ich dass der Mann recht hat. Er kann sein Leben genießen ohne Zweifel und Er hat genügend Zeit, eine Erholung immer zu nehmen. Vielleicht würde der Mann mehr Sorgen haben, wenn Er so viel gearbeitet hätte. Allerdings hat Er die gleiche Gelegenheit, an einem Boot auf der himmlische Meer zu entspannen als einen Millionär hätte.

How I Feel Speaking other Language
I do think that I have a different personality when I speak another language. In this case when I speak English. Also, I think that I sound somewhat differently. It is because you need to learn to express yourself in other way. First, when you start speaking another language you learn the culture, and also broke with some words and patterns of expressions you had learned in your own mother tongue. Because, these expressions and patterns do not have the same meaning even if the are the literal translation.
I am still learning, and I know I will be learning English my whole life, because understand another language is a life task. There is so much to learn and depending on what time in your life you started learning it, it would be easier or harder and you will confront various obstacles on your learning path. Simply, someone who has began their journey on a new idiom in their adulthood might confront some difficulty than a child. All that hurry and concern about learning is dropped when you are a kid.
But coming back to the personality aspect, it does feel like you were another person when you speak another language. You learn to joke, to say other phrases, and even use other words you would never use in your mother tongue. Just because that is the way the language works or maybe because these words are easier to remember while you are talking. All languages have like a style, and English and Spanish have a lot in common but also have a lot more differences.
So, you basically raised using and saying some words and phrases that you identify with, and you do not feel the same when you are saying other words even when they are a literal translation.

stereotypes of my country
Il y a beaucoup des stéréotypes à l'Afrique du Sud. Pour exemple, les hommes afrikaans sont impoli et inintelligent. C'est faux. Ils sont tres gentil. Nous devons les stéréotypes challenger, cependant un peu de stéréotypes sont vrai. Un stéréotype vrai est que il y a beaucoup de criminalité à l'Afrique du Sud. C'est un grand probleme. Le seulement solution est que nous devons réparer le probleme de la pauvreté. Alors les gens ne voleront pas.
Selon moi, les stéréotypes sont ne toujours pas vrai tout le temps.

Mon journal
Aujourd’hui je n’ai pas fait beaucoup de choses. Je me levais à huit heures et je me suis lavé le visage. Après, j’ai mangé mon petit déjeuner: une glace aux fruits. Il était très bon ! Après avoir mangé, j’ai lis « Le Petit Prince » un peu. Dernièrement, j’ai fait la lecture intensive. On pourrait dire que c’est comme « presser » l’histoire. Ce que je fais c’est souligner les mots que je ne connais pas, je leurs écris dans un glossaire et je cherche la traduction. Ainsi j’ai un glossaire dans le livre que je peux regarder quelques temps.
Après, j’ai regardé la série « Ladybug » en français. C’est une animation et je crois que c’est tellement parfait pour apprendre le français parce que ils parlent naturellement et c’est rigolo et divertissant !
J’ai mangé aussi du poisson et des frites. C’était très bon :)
Maintenant, j’écris ça et voilà ! Ça était ma journée !

Aujourd'hui est le premier jour du nouveau projet de mon entreprise pour développer une chaîne de magasins de détail. Je rencontre ma nouvelle patronne Ellie Bertrum, responsable des projets spéciaux.
Le travail commence à 9h. Mon bureau est à 30 minutes et je suis déjà à 20 minutes à la bourre car c'est déjà 8h50 ! Il faut que j'aille mais je dois d'abord réveiller mon coloc. Nous sommes travailler ensemble et faisons du covoiturage.
– « Réveille-toi ! C'est la journée nationale de bretzel ! » [Il aime des bretzels.]
– « Hein ? Que se passe-t-il ? »
– « Il faut qu'on aille ! Tu as encore dormi trop longtemps. Moi aussi, je l'avoue... De toute façon, il n'y a pas le temps pour de se doucher. Habille-toi pendant que je démarre la voiture. »

El espejo
Cuando me miro en el espejo, lo primero que veo son los nuevos piercings, dos bolas de titanio, que me hice en los lóbulos hace una semana. Un lado está manchado de sangre, que no he podido quitar por miedo a una infección. Menos mal que el otro no tiene ninguna manchada. Debo admitir que me espanto con el riesgo de infectarme, aunque la posibilidad sea baja. Cuando estaba tomando la decision de hacérmelos o no, no pensé en lo difícil que es dejar que los piercings sanen, al menos para mí. Me dijo que evitara tocándolos y aplicara un aerosol salino dos veces al día por tres meses. Pero no puedo dejar de tocármelos por accidente. Ha sido difícil, pero me alegra que se vea bien. Espero que no se infecte. Si todo sale bien, los reemplazaré con pendientes de oro.
