Challenge, Day 14
Today was the fourteenth day of my English challenge. I listened a to English video and repeat it again and again. I was so delighted to understand, so I did not need to use a dictionary.
I know there are many effective ways to improve my English. First of all, I have to read a lot. I can read short stories. depending my English level. I also keep a bunch of words from a bottom of my heart and used them in the sentence regularly.
I sent to a friend of mine an email. I told to him what I did today and I wrote to her in Spanish because he speaks both languages English and Spanish. He and I are close each eather.
Before going to bed, I have to revise a bunch of words; it's a great deal for today!
I have a confess to make: here is a bunch of words what I learnt today: effective ways, depending, close, each other, both and a bunch of.
Finally, I want to thank everyone for helping and correctiong me.I am grateful for this site and everyone help me.

Marketing and promotion is the key to a successful business.
To what extent do agree or disagree?
My essay:
People have different views about which factors contribute the most to a successful business. Some people assert that they are marketing and promotion. I mostly disagree as the quality of its products or services can be a more crucial factor.
A firm can significantly benefit from appropriate promotional and marketing strategies. Companies can undertake market research and therefore identify segments of consumers that will be interested in their products or services. After that, they can deploy many types of advertising, including sending emails or using pop-up ads, to connect with such consumers and persuade them to make purchases. Sales promotions such as giving out free samples or buy-one-get-one can also be used to increase customers’ interest or demand.
However, product or service quality plays a more vital role in business success. It can give companies a competitive advantage in today’s crowded market where customers have a lot of options. In contrast, even with excellent marketing strategies, if customers’ expectation is not met, they will quickly look for alternatives. To illustrate this, for more than two decades, Apple continue to dominate the premium smartphone market because it has relentlessly delivered superior products. So, quality is critical to retain customers’ loyalty so they continue to make purchases in the future. Furthermore, providing a high-quality product can be an effective and inexpensive alternative method for advertising. This is because its consumers can recommend it to others or post good reviews on various platforms, thus incentivizing purchases.
In conclusion, well-thought-out promotion and marketing plans can help organizations reach and attract their prospects. Nevertheless, quality products or services seem to be more critical for succeeding in business as they can lead to high customer retention, contributing to long-term revenue and profitability.

The rate of people living in poverty in Europe was fluctuating between the years 1993 and 2005. Until the year 2015 we can observe a downward trend as the number of poor people has been dwindling. As for the number of the poor in the Middle East and South Africa it flatlined from 1999 till 2013 after when it started to escalate and reached about 6 million poor people in 2015.
The global number of PC and smartphone users has mounted to 1700 million people in 2014. Global population has been steadily escalating since 500 BC till 1500, after which it started to soar and equalled 4000 million people in 1979. The upward trend has been continuing and it is forcasted that the number of people inhabiting our planet will surpass 8500 million people in 2025.

Dimanche dernier
Dimanche dernier, ma famille et moi sommes allé au centre-ville.
Nous avons mangé de la pizza. Mon pere demandé une "pizza romana" et il a très bonne. Moi, J'ai mangé une "pizza margherita" et j'ai bois une bière.
Aprés, mes frères et moi, on avons visité une villa qu'est maintenant un musée ; il-y-a un grand jardin avec magnifique arbres e beaucoup fleurs ; il-y-a aussi un petit lac avec cigne.
Nous avons acheté du souvenir ; j'ai acheté un livre sur l'histoire de la villa et autre livre sur jardinerie.
C'etait une bonne e belle journée

Un voyage au le musée
Ma soeur et moi, sommes arrivé sur cette ville hier et aujord'hui, on sommes allé au musée.
J'ai oublié d'acheter le billet de bus mais ma soeur achéte-il avant.
Elle a demandé au chauffer se quel bus va à ... et oui, nous avons sur le bon bus.
Je voulais m'asseoir mais il y avait seulement une place et sur l'autre chose il y avait une madame avec le semblait furieus. J'ai préférée rester debout.

Peter has a bitter memory of that event. Before his speech he was *guzzling* canapes, until one of them fell over his white new shirt stained it with sauce. He tried to *get across* the problem to one of his colleagues to switch their shirts. But, although Pete was *loath* at first, his colleague convinced him to clean the shirt in the bathroom. Peter using some soap. Peter didn't want people to *weigh up* his speech just for his appearance, so he tried it. Unfortunately, the stain didn't *went out* and besides the shirt was *creased*.

Ma chambre...
Dans ma chambre, il y a une grande fenetre. À coté de fenetre, je me coucher dans ma lis (bed?). Le semaine dérniére, il y avait une petit étrangere (shelf?) cependant je n'avais pas des choses interesantes pour montrer donc j'y vend.
Les autres objects dans ma chambre sont pour l'école. Je voudrais une énorme [bookshelf] pour mes livres mais malheuresement, c'est très cher! Aussi, la majoritie mes livres sont cahiers et j'ai mes cahiers sur le bearau (desk?). Mon bearau est vraiment jolli parce que j'adore y nettoyer!
Je pense que ma chambre me reflecte (reflects me) plutôt bien!

Ne te gênes pas
Il y a rien mal avec montre quelqu'un que tu l'aimes. Peu-importe si c'est un ami, un connexes ou quelqu'un autre. Cependant il faut savoir la difference entre montre une personne que tu l'aimes et l'énerves. Tu dois accepter que parfois les gens ne te vont pas aider et que cela ne va pas changer. C'est pas grave tu ne peux pas forcer quelqu'un de t'aimer, une relation base d'un setiment d'obligation n'est pas une vraie relation du tout. De plus si une situation comme celle t'arrive ne te gênes pas même si l'autre personne ne t'aime pas il y a aucune mal avec l'acte de montrer à des personnes que tu les aimes.

14 octobre 2022 - le nez contre les vitres
Dans l’épisode avec l’aiguilleur, pourquoi peut-on dire que les voyageurs sont en quête de sens ? Pourquoi les voyageurs devraient-ils, comme les enfants, mettre « leur nez contre les vitres » ?
« Mettre leur nez contre les vitres », je crois que ça veut dire que les enfants sont en train d’observer le monde parce que quand ils mettent leur nez contre les vitres, leur yeux sont en train d’observer les paysages et donc ils sont conscient de ce qui se passe autour d’eux. Tandis que les adultes, qui sont en train de dormir, ne voient pas ces paysages magnifiques. Dans la vie réelle, l’matérialisme pousse la société à accorder plus d’importance à l’argent et donc les gens travaillent et travaillent le jour et la nuit. Comme conséquence, ils sont aveugles des choses qui se passent autour d’eux. Donc, on les conseille de faire comme les enfants à mettre « leur nez contre les vitres » pour redécouvrir le monde.

Un mauvais gâteau
Il y a un ou deux ans, j'ai fait un gâteau pour l'anniversaire de ma femme. Mais, je ne suis pas cuisinier, donc il était catastrophe. J'ai suivi la recette, mais je n'avais pas les compétences de le faire bien. Donc, quand nous avons voulu le manger, il était dégoûtant. Plus que ça, il était dangereux de manger ! Maintenant, j'achète un gâteau toutes des années.

Hola a todos:
Acabo de hacer mi examen final del inglés. ¡Qué emocionante! Creo me fue bien. La examen pasé dos horas, y tenía tres secciones. Escribí veinte papeles, y terminé treinta minutos antes del tiempo asignado. En preparación para la examen, escribí más que veinte ensayos. Además, tuve que recordar treinta citas de tres autores. Mi sección favorita fue la segunda porque me encanta el poeta del los textos prescritos, T.S. Eliot. Estoy orgullosa de mí, y mis compañeros. Los exámenes van a terminar en Noviembre. Mi mejor amiga está planeando una fiesta con una hoguera y todos de mis compañeros y nosotros vamos a quemar nuestros libros de nuestras materias. ¡Qué bien!

Leben in Kosovo
Im Jahr 2016 hatte ich einen Jobangebot erhalten. Mein Boss von vorherigen Job hatte mich angerufen und mitgeteilt, dass er vorhat, Geschäfte mit einer Firma von Kosovo machen. Für das Projekt brauchte er einen Ingenieur und ich war perfekt für die Arbeitsstelle.
Nach drei Wochen vom Gespräch war ich nach Kosovo umgezogen.
Die Fabrik und mein neues Haus befanden sich in einer kleinen Stadt. Das umliegende Land hat mich beeindruckt. Dort gab es viele Hügel, Felder und in der Ferne konnte man Berge sehen.
Ich mochte die Arbeit. Es war nicht sehr stressig und mein neuer Boss war nett zu mir.

SternenTau Tal (Stardew Valley) ist ein bekanntes Videospiel,dass von ConcernedApe allein entwickelt.
Am Anfang des Spiels spielt der Spieler ein sehr beschäftigter Programmierer oder ein beschäftige Programmiererin,der/die von der schweren Arbeit und Alltagsmief erschöpft.
Dann erinnern die Figur daran,dass Seine/ihre Großvater hat ihm/ihr einen Hof vererbt.
Dieser Hof liegt in SternenTau Tal,das weit von der Stadt und der Unruhe.
Es gibt sieben Formen des Hofs zur Wahl.Standard-Hof,Flussbett-Hof,Wald-Hof,Bergspitzen-Hof,Wildnis-Hof,Ecken-Hof und Strand-Hof.
verschiedene Karten hat verschiedene Vorteilen und Nachteilen.zum Beispiel in Flussbett-Hof kann man die Fischen leicht fangen,weil der Fluss den Hof durchfließt.aber der Boden auch in viele kleine Inseln teilt. Deswegen könnte man kein kompliziertes Design des Hofs wie die lange Straße und der große Platz haben.
zum Schluss wegen der Schönheit (Landschaft) habe ich der Strand-Hof gewählt.
Ich nenne meinen Hof LiebeHof,weil ich habe einen Platz gebaut,der die Form des Herzens hat.Im Bau habe Ich drei verschiedene Bäume benutzt, und Jede Sorte Baum bildet ein Herz.
ins Zentrum des Herzens habe ich eine Trophäe gestellt.
ich mag die Landschaft meines Hofs im Herbst.
Leider kann die Npc nicht in dem Hof spazieren gehen,sonst will ich mit Sebastian ein Foto fotografieren.Sebastian ist ein Bewohner in SternenTau Tal,er ist hübsch und kann Motorrad fahren.
Wenn Ich mit Sebastian eine gute Freundschaft anknüpfen würde,dann Sebastian zu meinem festen Freund werden könnte.
Im SternenTau Tal kann man nicht nur anbauen,Liebe finden finden,sonder auch viel lernen.
Mein erster Freund in hier ist Linus.Er ist ein Wanderer,der dieses Leben freiwillig gewählt hat. Er hat Fähigkeit zu ändern,aber entschiedet er, Einschätzungen der Gesellschaft zu überwinden.
Ich achte auf seinen Mut,obwohl er nur eine Figur ist.

Un référendum
En Australie, normalement, des référendums ne sont tenus que pour apporter des modifications à la Constitution. Le parlement n’a pas le droit de la changer sans un référendum. Jusqu’à présent, 44 référendums ont eu lieu et seulement 8 ont eu un succès tous les autres ont été rejeté.
Le dernier référendum a eu lieu en 1999. Le gouvernement australien a déclaré que le prochain référendum sera lieu en 2023. Peut-être que vous avez entendu parler que l’objectif sera de changer la Constitution et de donner une reconnaissance aux peuples indigènes. L’intérêt à propos de ce référendum est particulièrement élevé.
Comme j’ai déjà remarqué, en Australie, ce n’est pas facile et il est peu probable qu’un référendum réussisse. Pour qu’un référendum soit adopté, (référendum to be carried / to be successful) il faut un vote majoritaire dans 4 états sur 6 états australiens : en Australie il y a 6 états et 2 territoires. Quoiqu’il en soit, c’est un processus long et compliqué. Au cours des mois suivants, la public aura de nombreuses opportunités de donner ses commentaires. Il est prévu de tenir des consultations et des groupes de travail partout dans le pays.
À mon avis, bien qu’il soit une opportunité de réunir les gens et de guérir les vielles blessures, le débat montera également la fracture de l’opinion publique.

My friend is coming back
Earlier this morning, I learned that an old friend of mine - David, is coming back to Taiwan from Canada next month on Facebook. He must be thrilled to fly back as Taiwan reopens its border for the first time since the pandemic. Although it's an exciting news for me, I don't bother messaging him right away. Instead, I'll wait for him to contact me when he is available to do something together, and I have a good reason to do so. Because David only returns home once every three years or so, he must schedule meetups with all of his family, relatives and friends for a mere week of stay.
I have known David since middle school. We used to be in the same class and that's how I met him. (Technically, he was in a class next to mine, but we took certain classes together.) David was born with a silver spoon. He spent most of his life in Canada, but I was lucky to meet him in school. One day, I took the courage to ask for his Yahoo messenger ID, and then started overwhelming him with English-related questions almost every day. Even after he transferred to middle school to Toronto in the last year of school, we were still in close contact. Both of us were keen on computer games, so we would play online games together. What good old days!
Since we started working, we have been growing apart and have been messaging each other less often than we used to. Nevertheless, we're still good friends. It feels strange when you meet someone you don't get to see for so long, you'd feel as if both of you had only been separated for a couple of days. Perhaps this is what a true friendship is. To me, only a true friendship can stand the last of time and difficulties in life.
As for what activities I'd probably want to do with him as he comes back, I'd probably want to try something different this time. Other than doing window shopping in the mall, maybe I can invite him for a gokart ride on the outskirts of my city, or take him to a newly opened fancy cafe for a chat. I am tempted to know what he has been up to, and who he is seeing, etc.

「決して諦めない市の紹介：サンアントニオ」
サンアントニオに観光すれば、皆が「アラモを覚えなさい」ということに気がつくでしょうか。街の中心にテキサスはメキシコから自由を喧嘩しているうちに人がボランティアとしてアラモを守っていた。戦闘（せんとう：battle）の前に砂（すな：sand）で線一条が描かれた。将軍は「この線一条を超えたら（こえる：to cross）、自由にとってテキサスを死んで守ろうと決心するべきだ」というらしい。何と言ってもテキサス人は強いですよ！テキサス人は負けても、誰にも逃げなかったので、この歴史のために、サンアントニオに育っている人として、「勝たなさそうだからといって、やってみることを諦めるべきではない」と信じる。
毎年4月にフィエスタや戦闘の花という祭りはアラモとテキサスの忍耐力（にんたいりょく：fortitude）を覚えるのに必要だ。最初の目標は若い人に歴史を教えることになっていたが、そのイベントで現代コミュニティの異文化は自分の文化を祝うようになっていく。この祭りに参加すればするほど楽しみしている人にとって、一番難しいのは、花を入れられたお練り（おねり：floats）を作り方の計画を立てても、きちんと作り方をことにすることが無理らしい。
これなのに、写真の上に見せた通りにお練りの発表を見に行くみんなは市の独特な魅力に感動する。このイベントのうちに、カスカロネスという卵を壊れることに参加するべきだ。カスカロネスの中に、コンフェッティがあるために、卵を壊れる間にいろいろな色の紙が落とす。友達とカスカロネスを壊れることの思い出を覚える間に、笑顔で笑いながら、街が文化や歴史や忍耐力などがいっぱくサンアントニオらしい所を考えたことがきっかけで、私の出身を紹介することを選びたかった。みんなが早く観光し、この特別な思い出のような経験があるといいんだ。

Meinung Über Die Kinos sterben
Ich finde es wirklich schade, wenn Kinos abschließen werden. Man kann viel Spaß mit seinen Freunden oder Familie, aber nicht allein, haben. Aber vielleicht ist sehr kostenintensiv ins Kino gehen, als zu Hause Filme schauen,weil man zu Hause kein Karte kaufen muss, keine Verkehrsmittel braucht und Dinge zum Essen machen kann.
Ich glaube dass die Internet Film zu Hause leichter macht, weil wir am welche Zeit und welches Film zu sehen möchten kann. Besonders für Menschen die arbeiten muss oder kein Geld haben. deshalb für mich ist besser zu Hause bleiben und jeden Tag eine neue Film sehen.

The magic of a movie theater
Because of the pandemic, many of us have prefer to watch movies in our homes, but I think the magic of the movie theater's ritual still persist.
I wanted to watch a corean movie called "Emergency Declaration" on a local movie theater, so I decided to go on Wednesday because they offer two tickets for the price of one. I actually went alone but I chose that day because one of the magic things of these places is to share with other people the same experience, and I was hoping to see many of them.
Even if we were just 6 people in the theater I enjoyed the movie a lot, but at the same time I can't but feel sad about seeing this places more and more empty each time I go to them.
The big screen, the pop corn smell or the carpets with strange patterns are things that Netflix will never beat.

J'ai vu un employé de maison a tombé sur le sol. Elle m'a dit que mon père est en difficulté dans le dojo. J'ai marché vers le dojo and j'ai vu une étudiante de dojo est éjecté par les portes de dojo. Il m'a dit qu’il souffrait. J'ai entré le dojo and j'ai vu mon père en train de parler avec un homme qui je ne connaissais pas. Cet homme a porté une robe verte traditionnelle chinoise avec un motif de dragon.
