この学期から解放された！大事な課題がついに完了した。よかった！卒業式まで一つだけの学期が残るけど頑張り続けます！第一志望の大学の願書を送ったばかりでほっとした。*IOCは終わった。点が悪かった感じがあるのにやっと終えてよかった。私以外に生徒のみんなはまだ課題とか、テストとか、ある。
今夜も雪が降り続くそうだから明日学校に行けるのか！？温度は-8ºCぐらいで、雪が固く凍るかもしれない。
明日から暇なのでもっと長い日記を書くつもりだ。今日は
*IOC（口頭試問文学分析, Individual Oral Commentary）は国際バカロレアという教育の一つの課題。二つの学んだ作品の中で口頭試問を行って、全て一通りを分析する。私の学校の特別な可能性のある作品は一つのLangston Hughesの11の詩とFitzgeraldのThe Great GatsbyかShakespeareのKing Lear。この課題は二分に分かれて、一人で韻文の分析と、先生と会話をするように劇、または小説の分析。どちらについて話さなければならないか無作為に引いた。

Progress!
It's already halfway through January. Though, as I mentioned in the last entry, I feel a bit lost and confused right now, I do think that I've made some progress with my language studies. I probably haven't improved much in terms of language skills, but I have taken a lot more initiative to learn and to practise compared to last year.
I'm doing okay with Italian now. I mean, at least I'm exposed to the language everyday. I either listen to an Italian podcast or read some texts on Italian culture (I'm particularly interested in the history and cuisine). I'm aiming to build up and expand my vocabulary during the first half of the year. For those who are also learning Italian, I'd recommend a podcast on Spotify called "Coffee Break Italian". It is geared towards beginners and the host explains the concepts in English so you'd be able to understand the nuances. As for intermediate learners, I'd recommend "Arkos Academy - Learn Italian", also on Spotify. They focus on a specific topic in each episode. IMO the topics are really interesting, they're mostly about famous Italians, bits about Italian history and also some famous Italian brands. They also offer transcripts of the episodes on their website, which, IMO, is an invaluable learning resource when it comes to language learning because it trains your listening skills AND reading skills at the same time.
As for Japanese, I'm falling behind schedule! I have enrolled in an online course for the N4 level and I was planning to do one lesson every two days. Today is the 15th and I'm still on lesson 3...... This is a disaster. I will try my best to get back on track but I don't have much faith in my procrastinating self, lol! Hopefully in my next "progress" entry, I'd be able to bring some good news!

A Nice Cafe
(I'm learning a contracted form. If there's any word that can be contracted, please correct it.)
There're some cafes I use to study English after work. Yesterday I found the cafe I like the most was closed. To me, this cafe's a place with something like spiritual energy,
so my TOIEC score got higher and higher as I studied at this cafe. I went to another cafe I like the second but it was also closed. That cafe's bread was cheap but tasty. I went to a cafe chain reluctantly.
Coffee and sandwiches're not good but not cheap; the couple on the right of me started to have a quarrel; the two young girls behind me were speaking ill of someone; a man and a woman on the front-left were also bad-mouthing someone, so I felt helpless. The limit of my patience to stay there was 15 minutes. I'm now wandering around in search of a quiet cafe.

Hola a todos
Hola a todos, este es mi cuaderno. Estudio español y alemán, pero mi español es lo mejor. Estudio con una universidad distancia. Tuve que seleccionar dos idiomas a estudiar para la titulacion. Este añó es español, si termino el curso tengo dos años más de alemán.
Para mí lo más difícil son el pasado y el subjuntivo. Puedo leer libros faciles pero no escucho bien.

Ieri non ho ancora studiato il giapponese. Avevo un corso di tassa ieri (dalle 8.30 di mattina!), così ero molto stanca. Avevo bisogno di dormire più presto ieri sera. Ma, penso che sia un buon cambiamento, perché adesso ho uno stile di vita più sano (mi alzo presto e dormo presto).
Ora sto mangiando il panino che avevo preparato ieri sera, è un panino con le uova alla coque, lo speck e una spruzzata d'olio extravergine d'oliva. Allora, la lezione comincia, non posso scrivere di più! A presto!

Skiing, Part 3
As I mentioned in my previous parts, I'm planning to be in Folgerida in the last week of January. This is my last writing before I'm going to skiing. After my holiday I'm going to write all my experiences.
I have two sets, one black (colour) and one white. I like both but the white one is my favorite. I always begin the first day with the black one. I've the feeling, when I wear the white one I need more confident. I think the white colour symbolize the professionalism on the white court. If one has a nice ski set, I assume they can ski well.
When we have a break we drink a jug of beer and in the afternoons, or in the end of the day we get a bombardino, that is a eggnog with cream.
I have my own ski boot, helmet and ski glasses. I have to rent the headers and the sticks.
I hope it'll be a good weather and we can enjoy fully the whole vacation.
I've tried to workout in order to be in fit. I also need strong thights.
I have a little time to strenghten yet.

Soziale Netzwerke und ich
Ich erinnere mich daran, als Facebook erst rausgekommen ist. Zuerst, hatte ich kein Interesse dafür, für die Seite mich anzumelden, sowieso war ich zu jung. Mit 11 Jahre, habe ich eine Account geschafft, weil alle meine Freunde das Gleiche gemacht - gegen die Versicherungspolice von Facebook.
Ich habe es nur dafür nutzt, um Nachrichten zu meinen Freunden schicken. Ich habe eine internationale Schule besucht, dafür hatte ich viele Freunde, die sind nach ihrem Heimatland zurückgefahren. Ich habe viel Zeit verbracht, durch mein Newsfeed sehen.
Als Twitter und Instagram rausgekommen sind, hatte noch mal kein Interesse dafür. Ich habe sie ausprobiert, aber ich möchte die Charakterbeschränkung und die Fotos nicht, weil ich nicht weder witzig noch fotogen bin. Ich hatte nur eine Facebookaccount bis ich 20 jahre alt war.
Mit 20 jahre, bin ich schon in der Universität gekommen. Ich hätte meine Zeit zu meinen Fächern widmen gesollt, aber ich habe mehr und mehr Zeit durchsehen verbracht. Ich habe mich den Höhepunkten von den Leben anderer Menschen ausgesetzt, während ich hatte keine. Ich habe meine Entscheidung schnell getroffen, nachdem ich erkannt habe, dass mir die Höhepunkten von anderen nicht helfen hat. Meine Entscheidung war meine account zu löschen und ich bin sehr glücklich, dass ich es gemacht habe. Ich habe meistens meine freundshaftliche Freunde als Kontakte auf meinem Handy und Emailaccount. Ich verstehe jetzt, dass alle, dass man auf Soziale Netzwerke sieht, gezeilt fomuliert wird. Es dauert fast eine dekade, für mich zu erkennen, dass man sich nicht vergleichen soll, damit man auf Soziale Netzwerke sieht.

昨日鴨川でコルフルといるLGBTの活動グループと一緒にゴミ拾いをしました。このイベントは目的が二つあります。まずはLGBTのリプレゼンテーションです。この活動では虹の模様の服とかウィッグとか旗を持っていきます。その方が普通に散歩している人に私たちの身分を理解にもらえるからです。それに参加したい人にわかりやすいからです。京都は保守的な町なので、みんな自分の気持ちを抑えています。LGBTの人が自分がLGBTだということを隠しているからみんなLGBTの存在を知りません。
その考え方は悪循環みたいです。一般の方は「LGBT」が意外と思っているので、もし自分のことは事実にゲイさえ、自分の心を隠します。それはそれで、みんなが隠れているからLGBTということは滅多にないという概念が２０２０でも残っています。残念ながら、今までも、ゲイだと述べたら、「えっ！」って応答をよくききます。
コルフルのグループがLGBTのアイデンテチーを伝わったら、私たちの状態を正常にします。それが一つの目的です。
一方、他の理由はお互いにみんなが交際をします。LGBTだったら、コミュニティーが大体ないです。それで、同じような状態のある友人がいると、ちょっと落ち着けます。その場合は安心ができると思います。ゴミ拾いしながらちょっとだけづつ話し合ったりしてコミュニチーができます。せめてそれは基本的の理想ですね。
だが今回は僕はちょっと間違いました。
他のコルフルの人たちが楽に水際の歩道で散歩しながら、一歩づつ、たまたまにぺトロボテル見つけたりシガレットを取り上げます。
そのまま、私が鴨川のゴミ拾い主な目的は、ただ言葉どうりに、「ゴミ拾い」だと思いました。来る前に水靴を履いていてズボンがめくりあがりました。直接に鴨川に膝までにも入り込んできました。レジ袋や、納豆のパッケージや紙おむつや泥で立ち往生の傘を見つけました。大きな袋が二ついっぱいになってきました。千と千尋の洗湯の場面のようでした。
夢中しながらみんながワクワクと見ていた。
みんなに冬ですので水が寒いからちょっと心配させました。
私の行為で気分をなかなか壊られてしました。プライドより不安かどうしようかて感じがありました。その上に私の例にとってLGBTの方は正直に多分泥の化け物みたいです。このLGBTの代理の人は超汚いそうでした気がします。私の熱心で私たちの目的を変色したかな。
「やっはり」普通の歩いている他人が考えていたはずです。「LGBTの人たちは変だよね。。。」

Een meisje en een normaale bed
Er was een meisje dat in een bos heeft gewonden.
Een dag, ze vindt een huisje en ze ging het huis binnen.
En de slaapkamer, ze zag drie bedden - een grote bed, een kleine bed en een normaale bed.
Ze meisje slaapt en de grote bed maar ze vindt het niet leuke.
Dan ze slaapt en de kleine bed maar het was ook niet lekker.
Waneer ze slaapt en de normaal bed, het was perfect!

A Little Detective
A week ago, my son found a Mochi box was empty, and he tried to find who ate that Mochi.
“Grandma, did you eat Mochi?” he asked his grandmother.
“No, I didn’t,” she replied.
“Great grandma, did you eat Mochi?” he asked his great-grandmother.
“No, I didn’t,” she replied.
“Grandpa, did you eat Mochi?” he asked his grandfather.
“No, I didn’t,” he replied.
I told my son that someone told a lie to you.
Then, my son thought seriously and said, “I may tell a lie...”
Everyone laughed so much!
Finally my son somehow found his grandpa ate that Mochi.

SUGGESTION TO TRANSPORT COMPANY
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing with regard to your bus service in my area.
Every weekday, I take your buses from Harris Street to Central Bank for work. But recently, the arrival times of your buses are so unstable that I have no choice but to call taxis if I don’t want to be late. And every time I take your buses, they’re overcrowded, which is another annoyance.
For years, your company has been providing safe, affordable and reliable public transport service to locals, for which we are grateful. Since last year, there has been a sharp increase in local population. If you cannot provide a better service to meet the growing need for transport capacity, I am afraid that many of us would have to resort to taxis or private vehicles.
As your loyal customer, I would like to suggest that your drivers receive further training and your dispatchers enforce a stricter schedule, both of which may stabilize the arrival times of your buses. And you may consider cutting the departing intervals at peak times to make your buses less crammed.
I hope you will address these concerns as soon as possible.

『脳の2つのモード』
とある識別では、脳には2つの状態（モード）があると仮定されている。そのモードは即ち：焦点モード及び拡散モード。
その説にて、焦点モードは一か所だけに注意を凝し、問題に集中し安くなります。意思決定に大きく関わっている、前頭前皮質という脳の部分だけがこのモードで活性化されると言われています。勉強や宿題の時、このモードをできるだけ維持するのが当たり前の考えがあるのかもしれませんが、実はそうされたら逆効果になります。焦点モードでは限られた脳の部分しかアクセスできません。その部分には以前解いてある問題の解答方法しかありません。この状態では、【アインシュテルング効果】—他の（優れた）方法に、機械のような思考のせいで盲目になること—に陥れ安くなります。新たなコンセプトなども掴みにくくもなります。ここで拡散モードの出番です。
拡散モードはその名の通り、特定の脳の部分を活性化する事ではなく、脳全部に小さく刺激します。これによって深く潜り込み、見落としていた選択を摘発する事が可能になります。このモードを発動するにはどの問題にも集中せずに気を抜く事が条件です。その性質ゆえ、自在に入るのは困難ですが、トリガーとなれる行為をすれば良いです。例えば散歩したり、お風呂に入ったり、あと最善の方法—睡眠を取ることです。こうであるが故に我々は”そうか！”という瞬間を体験するのが、その問題を全く意識していない時です。
両方のモードを上手く使いこなしてこそ、良く勉強することができます。

Mein Bürotisch
Manche Leute in meiner Arbeit haben höhenverstellbaren Bürotische. Man kann sie entweder stehen oder sitzen benutzen. Mit denen kann man also die tägliche Arbeit etwas entspannen machen.
Aber dieser Art Tisch habe ich leider nicht. Es wäre ja nett, wenn ich einen dieser Tische bekommen könnte. Vielleicht sollte ich meinen Chef fragen, ob ich einen neuen höhenverstellbaren Tisch kriegen kann.

Bag Change
I used a new bag this morning. Then I forgot my empolyment ID card so couldn't get in the office😭 I want to use a different bag at times but always forget to put the ID card in it. But I don't want to get on a train hanging it from my neck like mid-aged man workers😂 Is there any good way so that I don't forget it when I change bags?

Eine Kletterhalle
Ich belege nächste Monat einen Intensivkurs. Ich studiere in Köln und ich fahre dort am erste der Februar. Ich halte mich vier Wochen in Köln auf, und freue mich darauf, der Kölner Karneval zu sehen.
Während ich in Köln wohnt, werde ich ein Fitnessstudio finden. Viele Menschen sagte, dass es praktisch unmöglich ist, ein Fitnessstudtiomitgleidschaft für nur ein Monat zu finden. Ich werde anstelle einer Kletterhalle beitreten versuchen.
Ich hoffe, dass eine Kletterhalle werde auch ein gute Ort sein, um meine Deutsch zu verbessern. Ich habe eine Kletterhalle in San Francisco besucht, und hat manchmal mit andere Kletterer/-in gesprochen. Ich könnte vielleicht ein paar Freunde machen und mit ihnen Deutsch sprechen. Ich werde auch gerne Kletternwörter lernen!

Carl Larsson part 1
Carl Larsson föddes i Stockholm 1853. Hans familj var mycket fattiga. Larsson ritada ovanligt bra så hans larare hänvisade sig att inskrivna på konstskola. På 16 år gick han till Paris att träffas ändra konstnärar. Han var nära svälta ihjäl där! Så småningom flyttade han till en konstby som heter Grez. Många skandinavisk konstnärar bodde där. Larsson träffade hans framtid fru, Karin Bergöö. Hon var en konstnäre av textil och design. Larsson sålde hans första målning kallade Oktober. Sedan sålde han mer och mer målningar.
