Coronavirus Risk Causes Chain of Stock Drops, Nikkei index Down by 200
The global financial market is wavering with coronavirus outbreak. The Dow Jones Index on the 27th declined by 453 points, marking the largest drop in three and a half months. The chain of stock market drops continued on as the Japanese Nikkei index dropped by 200 points. The Asian stocks, crude oil, and nonferrous metal prices have fallen as well.
Risk-free assets such as national debts were マネーが向かった. With the fear of a global recession, the investors are avoiding the risk. Dow Jones ended the 27th at 28535.80, marking 5 consecutive days of price drops since August 2018.
“The pressure of selloff is too strong with more trades (商いを伴った下落?) …” said David Lutz, managing director of ETF at Jones Trading. FTSE 100 on the London stock exchange fell to a low first time in a month and a half. Stocks of certain companies whose performance is almost certainly anticipated to affect the prices were targeted by the short-sellers. Major airline company KLM’s stock prices dropped as much as 6% on the 27th. The number of passengers is expected to decline in the mood of abstaining (refraining from? avoiding? ) traveling due to the outbreak.
As the Chinese government banned citizens from booking overseas tour groups, the reduction of an ‘inbound consumption’ is anticipated. The largest conglomerate on luxury brands LVMH’s stocks also hit the low for the first time since December.
With the decision of extending the Lunar New Year holiday, the concern towards the manufacturing industry including high-tech was also noticeable. A large number of American corporations depend on China for manufacturing and supply of goods and parts.
“If the factories remain shut down, the effect on the supply chain will not be negligible”, said Tim Grisky, Chief Investment Strategist at Inverness Counsel. Apple stocks declined by 3%.
At the Tokyo Stock Exchange on the 28th, Honda’s stocks, whose joint factory in Wuhan is responsible for half of their Chinese manufacturing, dropped as much as 2%. Semiconductors and machinery, whose stocks are contingent on the prospects of the Chinese economy, were under a selloff as well.

Whenever I look back at my past, friendships come in my mind first. Those friendships were much more valuable than what I am having right now. Also the time I've spend with my childhood friends would popped out of nowhere when I am drunk or sad.Being an adult really does suck.It makes me even more cherished those moments I spend with them. But here I am dealing with existential crisis on a daily basis,I truly feel that life is meaningless and whatever I do doesn't matter in the end.But I think those little moments I have had with them is rather meaningful even than my first kiss.Yes,they are alive and well but you know,we don't have much time as we used to.Plus being adult comes with much more responsibilities which is exhausting.I don't even know what I am bragging about.

The cost to construct the original Titanic was around 150 million dollars. The cost to produce the film was 200 million dollars. The film was initially called "Planet Ice." James Cameron has spent much more time with the Titanic than its passengers spent aboard the ship. The film set was constructed south of Rosario, Mexico. Cameron drew all of the pictures in Jack's sketchbook. "Titanic" was the first film to be released on video while it was still showing in cinemas. After filming, the ship's remains were sold as scrap metal.

Trump Disputes Bolton’s Tell-All Book
President Trump at a press conference in White House on the 27th told reporters that the claim former national security adviser, John Bolton, made in the manuscript of his upcoming book regarding President’s ties to Ukraine is “completely wrong”.
He also tweeted writing, ”…If John Bolton said this, it was only to sell a book.” According to the New York Times, in August 2020, Bolton was told by Trump that military aid for Ukraine will be terminated until the U.S. receives cooperation on 不正疑惑の調査 (the investigation of alleged fraud?) related to the Democratic presidential candidate and the former Vice President, Joe Biden.
The Democrats are arguing that seeking information in return of military aid is an abuse of power, in which case if the claim turns out to be true, Democrats’ arguments will be supported (?)
Some Republicans are now claiming that there might be an increasing pressure for Bolton to testify at the impeachment trial. According to the U.S. media, senator Mitt Romney said that it’s “increasingly likely” that enough Republican senators would join with Democrats to support calling former national security advisor John Bolton as a witness.
However, on the 27th, Lindsay Graham, a Republican senator pointed out that it is important “to see what’s in the manuscript”. He also stated that Biden’s son, who has been claimed by Trump to have made 不正に利益(?)in Ukraine, should be called as a witness as well, in case Bolton is to testify.
In order to call on a new witness to testify, the senate requires more than half of the votes to win. In a 100-seat chamber with 53 republicans, for Bolton to qualify as a witness, a minimum of four senators must revolt against its party.

I have tried to make English sentences almost every day and have them corrected here. When I read the explanations, I thought I understood them, yet I make the same mistakes in making sentences. I'm wondering if it's a matter of getting used to using those words.
At the office, I got a phone call from an overseas customer today. She and I have exchanged emails almost every day and it was the first call from her. I was too nervous to speak well in English. I stuttered several times. After I hung up the phone, I drank a hot coffee with milk to calm down. I attended language exchange meet-ups many times to practice English with foreigners so far, but I think it's of no use if I can't use my English skills at work.
I think it's better to improve how I have conversations with foreigners.
When you meet foreigners, what kind of topics do you speak?

In Japan, two more people were confirmed infected with the new coronavirus today. This makes a total of six people. One of them has never been to Wuhan, according to the article. He is a bus driver who drove for tourists from Wuhan.
I will wear a mask outside the house from tomorrow. I hope the situation gets under control as soon as possible.

最初はこれを書きたかったです:「Hey, it's been a while. How has it been going? Are you still busy?」(久しぶりだね! しかし、残念ながらこれを入力してしまいました:「Hey, it's been a while. How has it been going? Are you still busty」(久しぶりだね!
Ruby

TwitterやRedditでこのような記事が出版する時、よく「I never thought leopards would eat MY face,' sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party」のコメントが見えます。
