Online-Unterricht
Wegen der Pandemie sind jetzt alle Unterricht online.
Einerseits mag ich die Situation, weil ich später aufwachen kann und ich mich nicht anziehen muss. Außerdem kann ich mit meinem Bluetooth-Kopfhörer etwas anderes tun, während ich den Unterricht höre.
Anderseits vermisse ich meine Mitschüleren und, wenn ich zuhause bleibe, werde ich sehr einfach abgelenkt.
Also weiß ich nicht, worauf ich für nächstes Semester hoffen soll...

Bricks Manufacturing Process
The diagram demonstrates the bricks production technology.
Overall, the process has seven stages during which bricks transforms from a simple clay mass to the product that is ready to use.
It starts with a digger collecting clay for bricks. The next stage is to filter clay through a metal grid and move clean samples on roller to use it in further stages. After that bricks need to be shaped, whether by using a wire cutter or a mould. The fourth stage is to hold bricks into a drying oven for 24-48 hours. Now, it’s time to burn bricks. Firstly, they move into the first kiln with a moderate temperature from 200 up to 980 degrees Celcius. The second kiln’s temperature is even higher and set to a range beetween 870 and 1300 degrees. Then bricks need to be cooled down in the cooling chamber, where they should stay for at least 48-72 hours. After this last procedure, bricks are ready for packaging. Now they can be delivered to clients.

La casa de mi amiga
Mi amiga era tan amable que me permitó quedarme en su casa ya desde casi 4 meses. Vivimos debajo de escalera, parece que nuestra casita se situe le mas bajo de todo el barrio.
Cada mañana salgo a la terrassa et observo la naturalesa alrededor. Todas casas vecinas tienen jardines inmensos con grandes arboles, palmeras y pajaros volando por todos lados. Y como estamos en la valle parece que naturalesa me rodea en tres dimansiones.
La casita tiene dos etages, pero aun es bastante pequeña. Es echa de madera y tiene dos gatitos muy arrogantes. Me siento cómo a casa aqua. Tengo que irme pronto y como lo succede normalmente empecé de aprovechar solo ahora, cuando ne me quedan mas de 2 semanas.

15 lipca- urodzony
Wczoraj miałam uroczystonśća na moją urodzony. Nie był duży imprezy z powodu pandemii. Rano poszedłam na lekcje tańca. Po południu pojechałam do dom mojego ojca na obiad. Zjadłyśmy stek, zimniaki pieczonny, i brokułi z serem. Na deser miałyśmy lodowy ciasto. Kiedy wróciliśmy do domu, miałam paczka przy drzwiach od moja soistra. Ona mieszka w inneym stanie, i zadzwoniła do mnie o północy żeby zaśpiewać sto lat. Póżniej, razem z męzem poszliśmy na spacer do parku. Zrobił zdjęcia moim aparatem polaroid. Pogoda była bardżo ładna.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
I haven’t finished the book yet. Actually, I’ve only read the first three parts out of six. Apparently, this series is quite famous in the U.K, in fact, there are some radio shows available on BBC radio which I highly recommend. There is also a movie starring well-known actors but for obvious reasons, the movie was a box-office bomb. The main reason is the plot itself which entails sci-fic, absurd situations, and philosophical questions, in other words, a melting pot where the author blended different topics. All of these topics in the pages of a book work perfectly because the author can stop himself to detail some obscure parts of the story, but in a movie the director has a time limit, therefore has to neglect some parts of the book or downright cut some parts of the plot. Thus, in many cases, the story has to be shortened too much and the audience ends up confused and not understanding a thing, which was the case with this movie.
Now, back to the story, everything begins when Artur wakes up just to realize that the earth is going to end in a couple of minutes. Fortunately for him, his friend rescues him just in time and upon this they begin an odyssey throughout the time-space fabric, going to different periods of time and to diverse points in the universe. This aspect of the novel is quite enjoyable because the author seems to be quite versed in physics and what is more, all the scientific resources he uses to back up his narrative make sense or at least have some base on scientific discoveries, which contributes to creating the illusion that even though the story is pure fantasy it may well have some base on reality.
As for the morale of the story, I’d describe the book as eye-opening because when the reader opens the books he is in the same situation than Artur, a normal human who is convinced that the world that he sees around is everything that exists, and who doesn’t question what is socially understood by reality. However, when the journey begins, the reader goes hand in hand with Artur discovering a completely new universe and multiverse, full of novelties to soon realize that humans are not the center of the universe and that there's more to this than meets the eye. The book is also hilarious. I love it.

La peor mentira que te dice la depresión
Hace cinco o seis días que tengo una depresión inesperada. Por todas medidas, debo estar más feliz - la terapía física me ha ayudado mucho recientemente y estoy empezando a correr y hacer otros ejercicios de nuevo. Además, estoy ganando dinero trabajando, y aprendiendo a cocinar con recetas que encontré en línea. Y con todo derecho, tengo mucho que esperar - mi cumpleaños viene el próximo mes, y también me mudo al dormitorio de mi segundo año en la universidad inmediatamente después.
A pesar de todo esto, no he logrado hacer casi nada por estar siempre cansado y deprimido. El libro que hace poco saqué de la biblioteca, queda apenas leído aunque lo he tenido por multiples días. En vez de leerlo, he pasado mis días en la computadora, gradualmente perdiendo mi mente, mi memoria, mi sentido de indentidad.
Y no es que no he querido hacer nada. Es verdad que por la mayoría del día, no he tenido motivación ni energía - pero a veces si he tenido energía - simplemente no lo he usado. El problema es que me he convencido de que fracasaría cualquier cosa que intenara.

Mein Urlaub
Ich hatte eine Reise im Jahr 2008 mit meinen Großeltern. Wir haben in Italien gegangen, zum Dorf meiner Großmutter. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht!
Dort habe ich zwei itelienisch Cousinen gekannt, weil meine Großmutter ist italienisch und ich habe dort Familie. Ich habe diese Familie nicht nie gekannt.
Ich habe die Chance für viele Freunde gemacht. Außerdem in diesem Moment war im Sommer und das Wetter war sehr schön! Wir sind in einen nahe See gegangen, und habe ich dort gebadet und bin geschwommen.
Die Erinnerung auf diesem Urlaub macht mich glücklich.

Meine Nachbarschaft
Ich lebe in Philadelphia (in Amerika). Meine Nachbarschaft heißt "Powelton Village." Es steht in einem größeren Bezirk, der heißt "University City" weil es viele Universitäte in der Umgebung gibt. Im Somer ist er ruhiger, da alle Studenten zu Hause sind. Die Strassen und Häuser sind sehr schön. Ebenfalls gibt es viele Kirchen hier. Aus meinen beiden Fenstern kann ich eine Kirche sehen. Die linke Kirche ist aus Stein und ist schöner. Ich spaziere gerne durch die Universitäte, insbesondere wann die Sonne fällt.

Un posto tranquillo
Alcuni giorni fa, ero a casa dei miei nonni. È un posto lontano da casa mia ma che mi piace molto perché ci sono molti alberi, uccelli ed altri animali bellissimi. Vado lì per nutrire gli animali, perché i miei nonni non possono più andare là per colpa del coronavirus.
Sono veramente felice in posti come quello. Vedere la natura porta un sentimento così buono, che mi fa voler vivere una vita tranquilla tra la foresta, senza preoccuparmi della città.
Purtroppo non ho mai avuto l'opportunità per visitare una grande foresta, ma ho già visitato alcuni posti simili meravigliosi prima, e spero di conoscere altri.
Mi ricordo anche di vederi delle immagini di laghi in Europa, dove ho scoperto una piccolina e fantastica vila chiamata Hallstatt in Austria, che mi sembra uno dei luoghi più bello del mondo.

Leute kennen
Er ist Juan. Er ist 18 Jahre alt und in Puerto La Cruz geboren. Er hat zwölf Jahre zur Schule gegangen, und hat dort Englisch und Italienisch studiert. Seine Großeltern hat in Spanien und Italien geboren, aber sie haben seit 30 Jahren in Venezuela gelebt.
Jetzt studiere er Systemtechnik in der Universität. Zurzeit ist er im zweiten Semester, und hat gut Noten, aber mag Mathematik nicht.

Meine Reise nach Colorado: Tag 1
Letzte Woche machte meine Familie und ich einen Urlaub in Colorado. Wir führten dort. Es war eine lange Reise-- 9 Stunden! Also wir mussten viele Haltepunkte machen. Es war nicht langweilig, weil ich Musik und Podcasts hörte und wir in Colorado schöne Berge sehen könnten. Um 5 Uhr kamen wir zu YMCA of the Rockies, wo wir wurden blieben. Es ist eine sehr schöne Rettung mit vielen Aktivitäten in der Nähe von Rocky Mountain National Park. Normalerweise ist es im Sommer voll, aber wegen der Corona-Krise können wir dort bleiben. Jedoch waren wir sehr vorsichtig. Wir trugen Masken immer und aßen in Restaurants nicht. Unser Zimmer war klein und hat keine Lüftung, aber es war sauber und bequem. Und wir sahen ein Reh, wann wir gingen zum Restaurant, um unsere Imbissbude zu holen!

Ein Gespräch mit meinem Nachbar!
In einem Studentenwohnheim wohne ich und wollte heute in die Küche gehen. Dann habe ich meinen chinesischen Nachbar nach langer Zeit im Flur gesehen. Er versteht kein Englisch und ich musste mit ihm Deutsch sprechen. Ich war überrascht, wie ich mich so gut ausdrücken konnte.
Bevor ich im Februar in die Türkei gereist war, waren meine Deutschkenntnisse A2. Als ich im Februar zum Kaufen des Flugtickets in ein Reisebüro gegangen war, wollte ich kein Deutsch sprechen. Von März bis Ende Juni habe ich durch Selbststudium B1-Deutsch gelernt. Außerdem schreibe ich jeden Tag bisher Deutsch auf langcorrect, das mir sehr geholfen hat. Ich danke den allen deutschen Muttersprachlern.

Everyday problems in Chile (30-day challenge)
Yes, this is another rant.
This week I received a package through Pullman Cargo, a Chilean company. I tried to check before where the package was to avoid a fruitless trip to Pullman's office, using the tracking code I got from the seller. I went to Pullman's website and tried to get the package status using the tracking code and, guess what! I got a beautiful "tracking code not found" error. I got a bit worried because the company that sent me the package through Pullman had already shown sloppiness, so maybe they had given me a wrong tracking code. Then, I tried to get information about my package calling to Pullman's call center. The first time I waited for five minutes. I did that like four times before giving up. I thought maybe with the COVID crisis, people weren't working in call centers (which is fine). Then, I tried to contact the Pullman's city office directly, using the telephone number I found on the same website. No answer. The call finished right away, like if the phone was unavailable. Finally, feeling defeated, I assumed that I had to go in person to Pullman's office. According to the website, the attention hours are from 9 am to 7 pm, so I went to the office at 5:30 pm. When I got there, I read a sign hanging in the office's door explaining that given the COVID crisis, the attention hours were from 9 am to 5 pm. You may understand that I was a bit frustrated at this point.
The next day I went after lunch and could get my package. So the tracking code was right, but for some unfathomable reason didn't work from their website. I told the entire story to the guy who was attending. You won't believe me what his answer was: he said it wasn't his job to keep the website up to date, so he didn't want to hear any complaints. He also told me that the previous telephone number wasn't working anymore (and gave me the new one) and that if I need to know the attention hours, I should go to check personally at the office. I asked him if it would be possible for him to email or call "someone" to fix the issue. I got a straight no for an answer. I added nothing else, gave him the polite-but-empty thanks of rigor, and left the place.
By the way, this is a private company, subject to the waves of the market, where innovation and fierce competition push the quality standards to skyrocket heights. Now multiply this situation by the thousand, and you will get a picture of why we have so many problems in Chile.

En el mercado hubo una profetiza que adivinó mi futuro. Dijo que voy a casarme en el próximo año. Pero no tengo fe en lo que dicen las profetizas.
Hoy hace muchísimo calor. Tengo miedo de desmayarme en medio de la calle.
¿Por qué un boleto sencillo cuesta más que un boleto de ida y vuelta?
Pienso que es muy práctico llevar mochila. Es mejor portar peso en la espalda que en la mano, y tener las manos libres es muy agradable cuando se viaja.

Gute Fortschritte
Heute bin ich zum ersten mal 5 km ohne stoppen gelaufen! Am Anfang des letzten Kilometers hat es plötzlich geregnet und ich musste für circa 10 minuten unter den Regen gelaufen. Das war so wie ein "Rocky" (wie in den Sylvester Stallone Filmen) Moment, ehrlich gesagt.
Ich weiß, dass 5 km einfach nichts sind, aber ich fühle mich trotzdem sehr gut :).

Das Wetter
Wo ich lebe, ist das wetter sehr unberechenbar. Es ist ein kleines Tal mit großen Bergen auf beiden Seiten. Wir bekommen oft anderes Wetter als die Wetter-Apps sagen. Ich glaube das ist wegen den Bergen. Zum Bespiel war heute Morgen sonnig und jetzt regnet es. Das stört mich nicht. Manchmal ist es nicht so angenehm, wenn wir heuen müssen. Aber alles ist so grün, wenn es regnet und der Himmel is hellblau, wenn es sonnig ist.
Im Winter ist es einfacher. Es schneit ein paar Tage. Dann ist es wieder sonnig. Der Schnee bleibt ein paar Monate und dann kommt Frühling. Aber ich mag die Kälte nicht so sehr.

Debates
¿A ustedes les gustan debates? A mí me pueden gustar, pero depiende de la definición que dan a la palabra "debate".
Si idean los debates como un medio para cambiar argumentos y proponer nuevos modos de ver al (a los) interlocutor(es), pues todo está bien
Pero si idean los debates como un medio para tener razón sin importar lo que cueste, utilizando sofismas y mala fe, para imponer sus opiniones, pues no veo qué cosa gratificante este concepto del debate podría traer, aparte de la pequeñita satisfacción de haber tenido razón.
Llenar a la gente con ideas como se llena a los gansos para hacer foie gras es inutíl, a mi modo de ver. Prefiero cuando cada persona presenta sus ideas y cuando todo el mundo en la discusión se siente libre de hacer su proprio trabajo intelectual leyendo los argumentos y ideas de los otros. Además, pienso que es más respectuoso (¿o quizás "está" más respectuoso? ¡Dios mío, la diferencía ser/estar en castellano va a tormentarme hasta el fin de los tiempos!)

Zeitumstellung
Ich habe eine Radioreportage über das Thema Zeitzone in China gehört. Man kann insgesamt feststellen, das China ein Riesenland ist und hat nur eine Zeitzone. Sie haben eine officiele Peking Zeit und eine echte Zeit. Das verursacht Probleme, weil das bedeutet, dass einige Menschen seht spät in der Früh arbeiten mussen oder dass in einem Landesteilen schon um 15.00 Uhr dunkel ist. Es sieht so aus, als ob die Menschen damit kein Problem haben. Ich glaube, dass sie sich daran gewöhnt haben. Noch ein Grund dafür ist, dass China noch ein kommunistischer Staat ist und die Menschen keine Stimme haben. Ich glaube, dass es Vor- und Nachteile zu dem Thema Zeitumstellung gibt. Die Sommerzeit führt dazu, dass es Abend später dunkel wird und das ist auch mit der Energiesparung verbunden. Im Gegenteil ist die Zeitumstellung nicht gut für die Gesundheit. Studien haben herausgefunden, dass besonders ältere Menschen, Kinder und Tiere unter ´ḿinijetlag' , Depression und Schlafstörungen leiden. In meinem Herkunftsland wird häufig über das Thema diskutiert. Die meisten Slowenen wollen die Winterzeit haben, aber unser Nachbar Croatien will Sommerzeit haben, weil eine Stunde länger von dem Sommerlicht sehr nutzlich für den Tourismus ist. Es würde sehr unangenehm für die Arbeiter, die jeden Tag beruflich ins Ausland fahren, wenn eine Stunde Unterschied gab. Meine persönliche Erfarhungen mit Zeitumstellung sind nicht schleht und nicht gut. Es ist mir ganz egal ob wir die Winter oder Sommerzeit haben. Ich gewohne mich daran sofort, aber menine Oma beschwert sich immer darüber. Sie sagt, dass sie kann nich mehr gut schlafen und dass es sehr lange Zeit dauert in der Normalität widerzukommen. Man muss zum Schluss kommen, das die Zeit zu umstellen oder nicht eine schwere Etscheidung ist und sie liegt auf die Regierung.

Aumento de inseguridad
La cuarentena sigue en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Por razones obvias después de más de cien días de cuarentena la tasa de criminalidad ha aumentado. Todos los delincuentes están un trimestre atrasados en ganancias, y por eso incluso mientras que sigue la cuarentena uno puede observar más robos y crímenes en la calle.
Dónde vivo ahora hubo un robo enfrente de mi edificio hace una semana y muchas más en el barrio. Si vas al súper para hacer compras o si paseas tu mascota a la tarde, verás gente observando otras personas, es muy incomodo.
El gobierno no ha hecho nada para prevenir o reducir el aumento en crímenes hasta ahora. Todos esperamos que hagan algo pronto.
