Groseilles
Une fois par an, mon employeur organise une sorte de conférence à laquelle des collègues de tout le monde prennent part. Dans une année normale, je prendrais un avion pour aller à n'importe quelle ville européenne où la conférence prend place. Je regarderais des présentations dans une grande salle de réunion et je présenterais aussi quelque chose. Normalement, les présentations m'ennuient, mais il est bon de voir les collègues personnellement. En absence de ce type de conférence, je ne les connaîtrais la pluspart d'entre eux que par téléphone.
Mais a-t-il du normal en 2020?
Hier, j'ai pris part à la version virtuelle de cette conférence. Le matin, j'étais assis correctement à mon bureau mais bien sûr sans costume et cravatte car nous n'utilisons pas de vidéo. J'ai fait ma présentation à dix heures, et après ça, j'ai continué à suivre les autres dans le jardin. Pendant une petite récréation, j'ai connecté un petit haut-parleur à l'ordinateur afin que je puisse cueillir les groseilles au même temps. Après le repas, j'en ai cuit de la marmelade pendant la présentation traînante du chef de la mercatique.
En résumé, c'était un jour productif. Je pense que le virus m'a accordé pas mal de changements positifs.
P.S.: J'aurais enclenché la caméra au cas où l'une de mes chattes monte sur le clavier pendant ma présentation. Tout le monde sait que je suis un facétieux. Mais dix heures de matin pour elles, c'est pas la meilleure heure du jour.

Day 29 - Life is a Dream
Life is a Dream is the title of the famous play written in the 17th century by the playwright Calderon de la Barca. Since the first time the play was performed on stage, it immediately became a resounding success, enchanting to all the audience equally, from the royalty to the plebs. As its title suggests, the motif of the play refers to the idea of our material existence as a mere illusion, something without substance. In this sense, some scholars have connected the author’s ideas with some oriental beliefs, more specifically based on Hinduism and Buddhism world visions.
Other major themes of the play are the ideas of destiny and free will. In this regard, the play introduces the audience to a King who is also an astrologer. The King predicts that Segismundo, his firstborn when crowned King will become a tyrant, a despot, a King who will oppress his people mercilessly. To prevent this scenario, the King, influenced by what he had seen on the stars, decides to incarcerate his newborn, as a measure to twist destiny’s arm. Thus, the conflict of the play lies in discovering how free we are to choose our destiny and also how real is the world that sustains us.
The play has remained for centuries in the canon of Spanish literature, and it continues to be read at schools all over Spain and Latinoamerica. Not only by the profound topics that it covers but overall because of the way in which the play is written. In this regard, Life is a Dream, is written for the most part in soliloquies, which are long pieces of texts that actors have to learn by heart. In this sense, many verses in the script have transcended the play and have gained a place in everyday speech. Among the most transcendental monologues, the ones recited by Sigismund are the most recognized, especially those in which he rambles on his illusory perception of reality. One of these memorable scenes takes place when Segismundo after returning to the tower that has kept him for decades prisoner, comes round from his drowsiness just to realize that everything he had experienced was only a product of his fantasies, that nothing was real, just a mere illusion.

Last Chance U
Last Chance U es una serie original de Netflix que por la superficie se trata de fútbol americano universitario y los grandes (y improbables) sueños de los jugadores a alcanzar a las niveles más altas, pero al fondo lidia con cosas más profundas. A medida que avanza, se conoce a los jóvenes jugadores que vienen de situaciones desesperadas, viviendo en pobreza, con una falta de educación formal que con talento y amor por un juego, están apostando todo para un 'chance', un oportunidad. La serie revela partes de nuestra sociedad que no queremos ver, que queremos cubrir y ignorar con un casco. Valoramos el deporte y a los atletas que conseguir éxito, pero no solemos ver que pasa con los demás, los que no alcanzan el top, los que pelean por todo. Al ver la serie, quieres que ganen los partidos, pero esperas profundamente que ganen en vida, y te hice pensar en porque no tienen más chances.

Rozmowa z Śmiercią (Część I)
To był trudny okres mojego życia. Już miałem osiemdziesiąt lat i miałem wrażenie, że za każdy dzień osłabiłem coraz bardziej. W dzieciństwie wszystko było o wiele lepiej - żadne martwienie, żadny problem, a tylko miłość rodziców. Co z tymi latami było? Minęli tak szybko, że nie miałem czasu to zauważyć. I teraz... teraz jestem tylko starym pijakiem przed swoją szklanką wódki w smutnym i śmierdzącym barze.
Nagle piękna kelnerka zbliżyła się: „Pan Andrzej Kowalski?”. Nie patrzyłem na nią. „Tak, to ja” odpowiedziałem lekkomyślnie. „Teraz twoja kolej. „ONA” chce rozmawiać z panem. Proszę iść do drzwi obok łazienki” powiedziała. W tej chwili zawróciłem i spytałem „kto „ona”?”, ale kelnerki już nie było.
Weszedłem więc tam, gdzie kelnerka mi powiedziała. Na stole siedziała bardzo piękna kobieta o czarnych włosach. Miała pochyloną głowę nad wielką książką. „Dzień dobry. Kim jest pani?” spytałem, a gdy podniosła głowę, przestraszyłem się; połowa twarzy była zniekształcona, jakby poparzona w wyniku pożaru. Zamilknąłem, by jej nie obrazić. „No cześć, Andrzeju, kopę lat!” nagle mi powiedziała. Ciągle milczałem. „Usiądź, proszę. Na pewno nie zapominasz o mnie. Byłeś tylko noworodkiem wtedy” powiedziała i nie zatrzymywała mówić; mi mówiła o każdym szczególe mojego życia. Ją przerwałem „Czy to żart?”. Cisza. Usiadałem z nią na stole. Nie odpowiedziała do mojego pytania. „Wiem, że to dziwna sytuacja. Jestem Śmiercią i ty musisz umrzeć”.

what the difference of life between the last generation and
In my view, the current generation has more options to choose their coveted lifestyle. And they don't need to confront life pressure for hunger. Comparing with the last generation, they have more time to spend in entertainment such as spending rarely time to play computer games, having low giving with family and won't save the money for any emergency in the future. Those are the rest of the life status of the younger generation, doubtless. But I don't mean they are not smart people. Instead, they are a lucky generation that living in a safe environment, enjoying the convenience of the internet, and benefiting by a global market that low prices and high-quality products. Those benefits their parents don't have at their age.

Erstes Mal im Restaurant Während Coronavirus
Hier in den USA ist der Coronavirus noch ganz gefährlich.
Obwohl unser Land sehr groß ist, ist der Virus noch überall. Alles in allem sind die Risiken jetzt schlimmer im Süden (Florida, Texas, Arizona). Dennoch ist es ganz beunruhigend, in der Umwelt zu gehen.
Aber meine Frau und ich haben uns entschieden, zum erstes Mal im Restaurant zu gehen, seit dem Anfang von der Krise. Seit März sind wir weder in einem Restaurant noch einer Kneipe gegangen. Wir gehen wöchentlich im Supermarkt. Das ist alles.
Also wie ging es? Es war natürlich ganz komisch! Wir fühlten uns ganz seltsam. Sollen wir Masken die ganze Zeit tragen? Oder gar nichts? Am Ende haben wir uns für beide entschieden. Wir betreten den Raum mit Masken. Danach haben wir sie ausgezogen.
Das Essen war fantastisch. Aber das Erlebnis war unheimlich..... Wird es so, auch nach dem Ende der Krise?

Corriger l’écriture des autres personnes
Je pense que c’est difficile de corriger des texts des autres personnes. Je trouve que je dois refléchir sur les reglès de la grammaire et, dans certains pays anglophones, ils disent certains phrase qu’ils n’utilisent pas dans autres pays anglophones. Également, certains personne, bien que soit correct, écrivent en une façon différent que moi. Quelque fois, je m’inquiète que j’ai fait un erreur et, plusieurs fois, je dois vérifier que tout mes corrections sont correct. Au moins, je pense que ma conaissance de la grammaire d’anglais a amélioré.

Oh, Das wirklich schade. ich würde an deiner Stelle nicht mehr sie stundenlang anhören, weil sie sich Respektvoll nicht verhalt. Einer gute Freundin kann gut nachempfinden.

Bella: Eine Freundin hat gesagt, dass sie mir Geld geliehen hat. Aber mir fällt überhaupt nicht mehr ein, wann das war allerdings kann ich mir auch nicht vorstellen, dass sie lügt.

Obst essen!
Ich versuche jeden Tag, Obst zu essen. Es ist aber sehr schwierig, jeden Tag Obst zu essen. Normalerweise kaufe ich Äpfel zwei Mal pro Woche, aber ich versuche eine Stunde einen Apfel zu essen. Ich sollte etwas kaufen, das ich leicht essen kann. Mein Lieblingsfrüchte sind Melone, Wassermelone und Mango. Ab morgen sollte ich eine von diesen Früchten kaufen.

Grosellas
Mi empresa organiza un congreso anual donde participan colegas del mundo intero. En un año normal, tomaría un avión para ir a otro país europeo, asistiría a presentaciones en una sala de reunión y también presentaría alguna cosa. Lo único realmente interesante de esos congresos es encontrar personalmente a todos aquellos que sino se conocerían sólo por teléfono.
Pero, ¿qué es normal en este año? Hoy participé a la versión virtual de este congreso. Hice mi presentación desde mi casa por la mañana. Después asistí a otras presentaciones sentando en mi jardín. Durante un recreo conecté un altavoz a mi computadora y recogí grosellas que confité durante la presentación aburrida del jefe de mercadotecnia.
En resumen fue un día productivo. Pienso que el virus nos ha traído bastante cambios positivos.

Schulabschluss-Zeremonie
Vorgestern machte ich meine Abschluss. Die Ceremonie wurde in Mai geplant, aber sie hat Verspätung wegen COVID-19. Meine Familie und ich fuhren zu einer großen Arena in der Innenstadt. Dann traf ich meine Freunde und wir fanden unsere Plätze. Wir alle trugen Masken, roten Kittel, und ebenen Mützen. Unser Schuldirektor und drei Schüler gaben Reden, und dann bekamen wir unsere Diplome. Unsere Namen wurde alphabetisch gesagt, und wir liefen über die Bühne, um unser Diplom zu holen. Ich bekam auch drei Auszeichnungen von meiner Schule: Hervorragend Mathematik-Schüler, Hervorragend Biologie-Schüler, und Hervorragend Deutsch-Schüler. Leider gab es keine Zeremonie für diese Auszeichnungen dieses Jahr. Nach der Zeremonie bewegen wir unsere Quasten (zu zeigen, dass wir unser Abschluss machten), und gingenen wir draußen, um Fotos mit Freunden zu machen. Es war eine sehr besondere Nacht, und ich bin sehr stolz auf mich und meine Klassenkameraden.

kinderlose Akademikerinnen
Die Grafik zeigt wie viel akademische ausgebildete Frauen, von 37 bis 38 Jahre alt, kinderlos sind. Man vergleicht die Kinderlosigkeit in der Beziehung zu dem Bildungsgrad von Frauen, die aus Deutsche West, Deutsche Ost oder aus dem Ausland sind. Auffällig ist, dass je hoher eine Frau ausgebildet ist, desto großer ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit keine Kinder zu haben. Bemerkenswert ist, dass die Frauen von Deutschen West ohne Berücksichtigung auf die Ausbildung häufiger als die Frauen aus Deutsche Ost keine Kinder haben.
In meinem Herkunftsland ist oft über das Thema diskutiert. Vor 30 Jahren war es normal das erste Kind im Alter von 20 bis 25 zu bekommen. Heutzutage ist das eher im Alter von 30 bis 35. Die Gründe dafür sind, dass die Frauen zuerst das Studium abschließen wollen, dann einen guten Beruf finden und zuletzt ihr eigenes Zuhause haben. Bezüglich der Ausbildung, haben die Frauen mit der niedrigen Ausbildung oft mehr Kinder.
Ich bin der Meinung, dass die Frauen die das Studium antreten, sehr wichtig finden, es auch abzuschließen. Interessant ist dass, das jeder Frau im Alter von 30 Überlegen muss was wichtiger ist: eine Familie oder eine Karriere. Die meisten entscheiden sich für Familie, weil sie realisieren, dass Lebensqualität, wenn sie Zeit für ihre Familie, Freunde und Hobbys haben bedeutungsvoller ist als Karriere, wo man die ganzen Tag arbeiten muss, um
in der Spitze zu sein und keine Zeit hat um das Geld zu ausgeben. Die niedrige Geburt rate
ist ein großes Problem und hat viele Auswirkungen. Zum Beispiel, wenn nicht genug junge, arbeitstätige Leute gibt, sind die Beiträge für Pension auch niedrig. Als Konsequenz ergibt sich daraus, dass man länger arbeiten müsste. Die junge Menschen könnten immer weniger Einfluss in der Gesellschaft haben. Es ist sehr wichtig eine bessere Familienpolitik für bessere Zukunft zu einrichten.

Mein Geburtstag
Gestern bin ich einundzwanzigsten geworden! Ich wohne in den USA, also kann ich schließlich Alkohol kaufen! Ich habe nur bei meiner Mutter, Oma, und Freundin das Abendessen gegessen, weil Coronavirus ist aktuell sehr verbreitet in Texas.
Ich habe von 9 Uhr bis 15 Uhr gearbeitet, dann ich bin beim Schnapsladen gegangen. Ich habe Rotwein und ein paar „Truly” gekauft. Danach haben meine Familie eine meterlange Pizza gegessen. Es war nicht eine große Party, aber wir haben viel Spaß gemacht. :)

Sitting on a comfy limo backseat, master Meow Shi stays calm. Being exempted from any rat race in her life, over the years she obtains the indisputable skill of kneading- the art that now can save human lives.
Having understood that, she uses her soft power wisely, not only mitigating tyrant’s lower back pain and heart, but also thwarting gruesome plans to throw the world into the utter chaos of a nuclear warfare.

Les bandes dessinées
Il y a un cliché qui dit, quand on apprend une nouvelle langue, on voit le monde à nouveau. Bien sûr, il y a les façons différents dans la quelles chaque langue décrire les memes phénomènes, mais on voit aussi les choses que chaque culture valorise aussi. J'ai adoré depuis toujours les bandes dessinés, mais au canada et les états unis, ils sont encore regardés comme des choses pour les gamins. Cette perception change, mais lentement. Seulement les plus sérieux parmi eux, les "romans graphiques", sont regardes comme les vrais oeuvres d'art.
Par contre, j'ai entendu les BDs décrits comme le 9iem art. Je connais pas la racine de cette difference culturelle: peut-être c'est grâce à la tradition et la connaissance de la peinture et l'art visuel en France. Ou, c'est à cause de la proximity des belges, qui sont bien connus pour leur BDs. Dans tout cas, pour quelqu'un qui aime l'art, la qualité de les BDs en français est pratiquement une raison elle-même, pour apprendre le français.
Il y a deux auteurs de les BDs qui j'aime mieux que les autres. Le premier est le bien connu et très célébré dans tout le monde, Mœbius. Il n'y a pas trop pour moi de dire sur lui qui on n'a pas déjà dit. Ses propres BDs sont magnifique, et il a influencé tous les auteurs du BD qui le suivent. J'ai vu ses dessines dans les vieux numéros de 'heavy metal' quand j'étais un adolescent. À la fois je n'ai pas su qu'il était français, mais je le adoré .
L'autre auteur de BD que j'aime est Christophe Blain. Comme Mœbius, j'entendais son nom avant que j'ai commencé la lecteur en français, parce que 'Quai D'Orsay' était publié pendant mes études à l'université. Donc, la première fois je suis allé dans une librairie en France, j'ai cherché pour des albums par lui. J'étais un peu surprise de voir qu'il à écrit un petit series 'western' sur un cowboy nomme 'Gus'. Les histories dans ces trois albums ne sont pas compliqué, mais j'adore comment il a crée des dessins si vivant et rempli d'emotion avec un style relativement simple.
